For me the issue is the smoothies are terribly blended. So badly blended they’re basically not smoothies. Literally if my smoothie had just been blended properly it would have been a 4 star rating, but it was so chunky and then random pockets of pure yogurt etc. would not be my first choice for a place to get a smoothie.

Nekter has great green juice smoothies that they make fresh on the spot.. so it does take a little bit of time because they are working from raw veggies not a premade juice blend.. here you know exactly what you are getting and you know there is no other junk going in there to spike the sugar.. so many smoothie places you really don't see the true ingredients. Service is always good and there is plenty of free parking in the large lot. Location is in the newly remodeled Whole Foods shopping center on PCH and Beryl in south Redondo.

This place is the worst. I waited 45 min for a drink before they told me they wouldn’t be able to make it but would give a same-day refund. Refund was not given that day and still has not been given despite it being a month since then and multiple times contacting customer service and the store. This location needs new management. Very unprofessional.

Poor takeout service. This is the second time my order wasn’t prepared despite ordering nearly an hour in advance. Staff showed no concern or apology and prioritized walk-in customers over fixing the issue. Smoothies are good, but the service is consistently disappointing.

Frustrating service.
From not greeting when a client walks in (space was almost empty), and just working on the order before (easy to say “I’ll be with you in a moment”), then just having bad attitude, not announcing my order and putting it in the fridge, then worker just left walking right passed me and not saying anything. I was still waiting for the order so I came to check in after I saw people that came after me walking away with their order, and the nice lady with the ginger hair told me “oh, the other girl just put the order in the fridge and walked away”….

If you don’t want to work maybe you shouldn’t be there young lady, management should probably check what happened and why. (1/6 around 3:30-3:40pm)

I ordered 2 smoothies about 30 mins ago, said it would be done in about 20 mins. I arrive she said she needed another a 5-10mins had a few bowls in front of me

I love Açaí Bowls, Juices & smoothies!
Nékter was right by the Stretch Zone and I saw you could order through the app and get a free juice after your first order! (Love an extra incentive :))
I ordered an Açaí bowl on the app and was genuinely greeted at the counter when I arrived.
There were a few people ahead of me waiting, but I only waited 5 min or less and got my bowl!
I also grabbed a water and a bottled juice while waiting. Everyone was super sweet and helpful in the shop! It looked like a good collaborative working environment - Kudos to the girls working together this morning.
The Açaí bowl was delicious, the juice was perfectly refreshing, and the water bottle was not outrageously priced - which is appreciated!
Top notch experience, I will be back!

The singular reason I’m giving this location 1 star is because of the absolutely horrific people management going on here. The AM staff are fantastic humans, doing what they can to service customers, alone, busy, stressed. I have worked in corporate retail and thereafter corporate bankruptcy, now legal. I know what causes companies to fail, and this is it. Overworking your staff, not listening their feedback, not staffing properly. It’s something we see everywhere today, companies claiming they care, yet placing profits over humans (both their staff and customers). I have already told this location about the staffing issue, the staff has told their management, nobody cares. What a disgrace. This is what is wrong with capitalism.

Kudos to the staff on the front lines for doing what they can with the shitty hand that management has dealt them here.

I ordered online and it was ready when I came in. I was attended to quickly and my order was correct with 4 spoons and napkins for the 4 Açaí Bowls. Thank you Nekter.

Tried to get a bowl this morning at 7:02 AM- the posted hours on Google, their website, and on the actual door say they open at 7. The lights were off and the door was padlocked shut. Waited for a few minutes then went and got food elsewhere as it was clearly not open nor operating yet. Make sure to call and confirm that they are actually there if you’re planning to go early in the morning.

I have been coming here for some months now I love the location. The staff is pretty cool. The owner knows me by name very inviting. She’s so adorable. I will continue to come here.
