Saturday night dinner, should have beeon's crab fried rice had 2 tiny shards (presumably crab shell, as it came with half a top shell for presentation). Daughter had Shoyu ramen, which she loved. I had Motsu hotpot. It had a 3 tablespoons of fat chunks, and the pork was unchewable, like overcooked calamari. I would def not recommend that hotpot.
Server and atmosphere (direct view of the open ocean at sunset), were VERY good!

Excellent food, excellent service. Loved the spicy tuna on grilled rice crackers and the hot plate chicken and steak. The staff went out of their way to make my sister-in-law's birthday special. Best churros ever. Will definitely return to try more menu items

One of the best sushi's I've ever tried. I had to wait a little to get in but it was all worth it. I did visit on a day when they had a limited menu available but that limited menu is better than some other full menus, this means that I am obligated to go back on a day that they have the full menu.
I had one appetizer, two sushi rolls and a dessert. My appetizer of choice was the Rice Cracker Spicy Tuna. Very tasty, nice crunch to it and just the right amount of spice. I then had the Sunset Roll and the Eel roll. Love both of these, they were very fresh and tasty. Finally, I ordered a Frozen Banana & Pineapple. I had tried frozen bananas before but never a frozen pineapple. It was very good and I could have again next time if I am not tempted by their parfaits.
Another thing that I loved about Oriental Breeze was the atmosphere and how welcoming the staff is. It was easy to see how much love they put into their work. I also noticed that there were a lot of Japanese guests having dinner and you know that when Japanese folks go to a Japanese restaurant, it's because it is legit.

Came by this evening to Redondo Beach pier after 3 years away from LA. We were first mesmerized by the beautiful sunset and the same relaxing vibe of the pier, then were happy to discover this new sushi restaurant. Boy did we have a great time! The restaurant staff including the chefs greeted us warmly. And we indulged in every dish. Having just been in Japan earlier this year, we honestly felt the food brought us back to Japan! Will definitely come back for more!

Wondered in to this place to eat some sushi and enjoy the sunset. We ordered ramen and and a salmon roll. When we got the ramen we started eating it, the ramen was tasting bad, then my wife found a fly in her Ramen. And when we asked for the check they told us to pay for the ramen that we did not eat and asked to take it back to the kitchen. They offered us free ice cream on top of everything and after a little fight they finally removed the ramen from the check. Hospitality was the worst.

The food is served very slowly and the food is very unpalatable. I don’t recommend coming here.

Excellent low profile Japanese restaurant, with incredibly delicious variety of food. Tantanmen, shishito peppers, spring rolls, and tempura sushi were a hit! Very chill atmosphere. Nothing pretentious. Came with a baby she had a great time too.

This is my favorite restaurant. Been coming here for over 10 years. The avocado and salmon tartare is my favorite. The entire menu is delicious. Must try the white tiger roll and the calamari. The entire staff is great and very welcoming. The views are great. This is definitely a hidden gem.

I have eaten at a lot of Japanese restaurants, I love Japanese food! This restaurant is the best I've ever personally been to! I loved the selection on the menu. It all looked so delicious and authentic, way more interesting of a selection than most Japanese restaurants I've been to before. I tried the octopus with wasabi and the Japanese beef, and shared house hot sake with my friend. I wanted to try everything on the first few pages of the menu!! The wasabi was the real deal too. I am thoroughly impressed and pleased. I wish I could eat here every night!

My daughter and I went today. Out of the several times we've visited Redondo Pier we've either come before they were opened or they were already closed, we were super excited today that we were able to make it while they were open. Today would have been my daughter's first time trying sushi except she couldn't finish the California roll and spat out the whole thing into the napkin. I am so happy that she did because I ended up with food poisoning about an hour after we left the restaurant. I only had the California and Spider Roll which means it was something in one of those two rolls that made me sick since those were the only ones t
I ate. This was the only food I had today so we know that it was this place that got me queasy. They get one star for the service and the atmosphere, the whole reason you come to a restaurant is the food and besides the food poisoning it's just not the best sushi, the rolls were incredibly loose and they fell apart when you try to pick them up. I don't feel like my bar for sushi is super high I've never been to Japan to have authentic sushi and my idea of amazing sushi is Crazy Rockin' Sushi. So really they just had to not give me food poisoning to be considered good sushi. I currently have gurgle guts that I will have to live with for the next day or so and I'm at home throwing up. I really wanted to like everything here, the sushi looks really good until you tried to pick it up or eat it.
Maybe we just caught them on a really bad day. We definitely won't be back not when there's better sushi for way less money not set in a tourist trap.

I've been to Japan, but I found the Japanese food there not good. I think it might have been expired or tampered with in some way. The seasoning tasted like it was trying to mask something. All the employees were Japanese women, and their service was terrible. Their attitude was nowhere near the level of hospitality I experienced with other Japanese people when traveling in Japan. It seemed like they either didn't understand or were blatantly gossiping about the customers. The owner, who appeared to be in his 50s with all black hair and wearing a wig(?),was drinking beer while working. The owner's behavior was also awful. The bill wasn't clearly itemized, and it was expensive. I felt like I was dealing with a shady company.
In addition, they were also operating a snack shop “FUNNEL CAKES, ICE CREAM Hotdogs,”next to the restaurant. It didn't seem to reflect the same standards, but the same owner was cashiering during lunchtime. It appeared they had modified American-Mexican snacks just for profit, lacking any sense of Japanese pride or authenticity in both the snack stand and the restaurant next door.

It's the best shop!
You can enjoy cuisine that combines the best parts of Japan with the best parts of the West Coast!
Everything is really delicious, but this famous Dungeness crab is exquisite! We recommend this crab because it has a rich flavor and flavor that rivals Japanese crab!
The staff's service and the view are excellent!
This is a great store to visit if you're in the area!
