I come here very often due to my job, very good food, always fresh, hot and consistent flavor. The people serving there are very friendly. I had a very bad bad experience on another panda express but this place is run by very professional people.
This location not good. Staff unfriendly and not good with service. Manager or supervisor who assisted not very professional. Doesn’t care about customer. I’ll continue going to Panda Express but never on this location again.

The chicken egg roll is okay and the super foods and fried rice tasre good but the rest of the food doesn't taste right. I agree w the other reviews this Panda Express doesn't have fresh food

The food was fine. But the service was way below par. The server, an unwelcoming unsmiling young woman, was the worst I have witnessed at this Redondo Beach location. After filling another customer's multiple plates, she saw several customers waiting to place their orders. The chow mein bowl was becoming depleted but instead of alerting the cook so he could begin making more right away, she took her cell phone and disappeared somewhere for about ten minutes while customers stood there waiting. The other server ignored them and hung out by the registers filling orders for two people who jumped the line instead of waiting their turn. After much waiting, server #1 returned and told the cook they needed more chow mein when finally the customers tried to place orders. She said it would be about 7 more minutes. Finally the chow mein bowl was refilled.So when she filled the plates, she was in a big hurry and threw smaller portions into them than other servers do. The two red boxes for extra items she did not fill to the top as other servers do. She left about 3/4" down from the top. I asked to see those, and said they were not filled as always they are. She stated that they put one scoop in each. A half-hearted scoop. She refused to fill them to the top line, just as she had tossed other items into the containers as if she were paying for it out of her own pocket. Upon leaving, she snidely called out Have A Good Evening. She was an unfriendly server, and acted as if she hated being there. The whole time she had a sour look on her face and was defensive. Too bad, because otherwise this is a pleasant Panda establishment. They need some nicer servers.

I went to Redondo Beach last night.I stopped at the shopping mall.I remembered this place. I used to come here when it was hot in the summer days.I didn't have a chance to eat my dinner.And I was hungry for Chinese foods.Then, I found the Panda Express fastfood restaurant. This shopping mallhad a big parking lot. They even hadan underground parking lot.Anyway, I went inside the restaurant.It was very clean and they had plentyof tables & chairs to sit. One youngman who served me for my food.He was polite and friendly. He helpedme to choose my selections. I had twochoices of Orange Chicken & TeriyakiChicken, which came with fried rice.When I tried the Orang Chicken, it wasamazing taste. I loved their tasty sauce.It was sweet and tangy. Teriyaki Chicken was all white meat, and it was juicy and tender. Also, fried rice wasnot salty, so it was good with Orange Chicken & Teriyaki chicken.They offered a big portion for one person. I couldn't finish the food.Panda Express is a Chinese fast food restaurant, and they offer many selections of tasty Chinese foods.This place offered outdoor seatingareas. It is a nice place to sit outdoorsand enjoy foods.If you like Chinese foods, I would liketo recommend Panda to everyone.

I contacted corporate office and explained exactly what occurred on my last visit. I explained how in no uncertain terms that I would not return to this particular location, but I do really like there food choices and I would return to there other locations. The corporate "customer care" heard and understood my concerns and offered me a new meal at any other location if I choose to, which I did. There food is delicious and that's why I gave 4 stars this time...customer service. NOT from Redondo Beach location, but corporate solved the service issue . Thank you Ashley at corporate office. Perhaps "P.J.", and whomever is the manager at the Redondo location need more training.

It can not be considered food in any sense. The meat dishes are actually mushrooms. The breaded coated meat contains no meat. The chicken is actually square cubes of soy with chicken flavoring. The set up of the restaurant is strange and confusing looking for napkins and horrid plastic stemware. I tend to go to Chinatown LA to get real Oriental food and hope my BMW's wheels are still there after I have eaten such authentic Chinese food.

Updated 042723 - Panda management was contacted using emails at pandarg.com - using linkedin and rocketreach was able to find and communicate with the training manager, operations VP, and Zone VP. They confirmed the behavior below was not standard, offered me a free meal and would to meet in person. Therefore I revise this review to a 4 stars and it will get 5 stars after I visit 6 months from now to see the change in attitude. Excellent response from the corporate team and also the standard customer team that you can write into on the website. (Experience on 042623 in Redondo Beach) Probably will not return to this Panda Express until management has responded to the issue of communication and politeness. Customers all look miserable there waiting and the staff is either overworked or understaffed. Could be an operations management issue leading to toxic work behavior. Undersupplied food and poor training on food preparation for potentially high volume consumer base in an affluent area. Twice in two (2) take out orders I have found the lead cashier extremely difficult to communicate with and I'm an Asian Studies graduate from a top 25 university. The food is not bad - but compared to the Gardena and Manhattan Beach locations - the service is better and more welcoming and if the Teriyaki is on hold you don't have to ask three times if there is a delay. In reading the negative reviews over the last couple years - I would agree with most of them and management should come in and reassign the staff to other locations or replace the management who is training them. If you are going to be rude work somewhere else - go where you would like to work - and I will logically go to a place that deserves my business. I go through 100 drive throughs a year and to Panda Express once a week religiously because the food is consistent and the workers are nearly all competent and welcoming - and here is see an exception which must be fixed.
