Oysters tasted very fresh. Definitely coming back soon.
This place is phenomenal for fresh seafood!
Second time visiting and the place did not disappoint. Food continues to be fresh and very tasty. So many things to order from, fresh fish cooked on site, fried shrimp, fish, cajun boil, fresh oysters and so much more. Come and try it out
We ordered the shrimp tacos, shrimp ceviche, fish, shrimp and chips, and calamari. Everything was fresh and delicious, but the calamari tasted a bit too oily.
Growing up in LA , this is my go to spot for casual seafood dining on the beach. They have live seafood you can select and they will cook it for you. Nothing fancy, but the seafood is super fresh. They also have live Uni from Santa Barbara.
Definitely recommend getting something that I don’t think was clear on the menu because it was on a different sign. You can choose any fresh fish from the market and have them fry, grill, boil or steam it (no extra charge for the cooking). I had grilled yellowtail filet and it was superb and not too expensive! I had it with a side of fries.
Half pint of poke came with a sizable amount of fish and was enough for 1 person. Not the best I’ve had but felt it was pretty good. I wish they had ogo or some type of seaweed topping you could add.
Medium Paella was a good size and came with a lot of seafood. It was okay, especially given the price, but probably wouldn’t get again. The shrimp was the biggest letdown as they were very mushy and overcooked.
It was a pretty laid back, harbor atmosphere. I do wish there were some tables not under the roof so you could eat in the sun though.
Considering I paid ~$45 for all of this seafood I think I think it was worth it. Much more affordable than some of the restaurants on the boardwalk. Grilled fish was my favorite.
Great clam chowder and clam strips

Pick fish from the counter and they cook to order. It’s like an actual fish market, where you have to get certain items from different counters. The quality is fantastic and I’ve never had a bad meal here. Service is 9/10 times great. There are some who take their job WAY too seriously though (talkin to my guy with the pen in his hat screaming at customers “hey lady I take my orders HERE”, bangin on the counters… ?).
the pick up window used to have an order-ready screen. Now they just call it out and it’s pretty chaotic. You have to go up 5 times to check if your order is ready… or just stand there for 20 mins.
Also, the tables are GRIMY. Ask for crab paper at the window so you can cover that gnarliness up. Alcohol prices very reasonable!!

Crazy busy seafood market, deli, restaurant or whatever you want to call it. This place is a seafood zoo. We got lobster tacos and grilled Ono taco. The Ono taco was delicious, but the lobster tacos were ok, as they were a little lacking in flavor. Not that big a fan of salt water mud bugs anyway. If you like seafood, this place is a destination, for sure!

Fresh seafood, served and processed on site. There is a flat beach
Parking: The building is very large with three basement floors, accommodating 200 vehicles
Kid-friendliness: There are games for children, cool books and signs
Wheelchair accessibility: The path is wide and comfortable for people with disabilities.

We drove up from San Diego to eat here, it's that good. Although it can be a little overwhelming with so many choices but Anthony M was really patient and helpful and helped us nail down our meal, what would go good together and how it should be prepared. We ordered a lot of food but some how we finished it all! Thanks again, Anthony!

My family has been coming here for ages. Fresh seafood and good clam chowder and lobster bisque. Their steamed selection is nice too and gotta try their raw oysters and uni! The food is pricy, but still a great place to hang with family and friends. Weekends get pretty busy. They got paid parking in the structure.
