MJ, my hostess was amazing. One of the managers was kind enough to visit with me. They ensured that I was happy with the food and service. I'm returning to the cafe the chance I get.

Kristina and I had a blast at Rajin Cajun Cafe in South Redondo! We grabbed our usual spots at the bar, which is the perfect place to catch a game. The energy was high with a double-header on the screens: the Lakers taking on the Clippers (tough break for Luka!) and an epic Bears comeback win over Green Bay in OT.
Even though it’s a Cajun spot, we opted for Nick’s Burger with Cajun fries, and it did not disappoint—especially after experimenting with their various Cajun sauces. The highlight of the night? Seeing a bottle of Josh Chardonnay on the menu for only $30. We expected a house brand for that price, so scoring a bottle of Josh was a total win!
We’ll definitely be back soon—they have a great concert lineup coming this February and March, including Journey Jukebox. Can't wait!

what a great place- the staff was very attentive and great about answering questions, drink was perfectly mixed as I'd requested extra sweet- and the grub was amazing! Highly recommended, bring a big appetite, the amount of food and options are just mind blowing! I was a little apprehensive to try the Alligator bites but i am glad i did!

The Bayou Bisque is the greatest thing my mouth has ever encountered. Ragin Cajun must be protected at all costs

This review is only based on the Thanksgiving fried turkey purchase we made this year. For 175 dollars my expectations for this bird were that it would be hot, juicy and flavorful. What I got was a very ill appearing bird and a few weeks of regret. I absolutely would not recommend this to anyone considering purchasing for the Thanksgiving holiday. I was extremely disappointed and the majority of it (essentially all of it) went straight into the trash. We love to support local and even donated for the daughter’s school event while there, but I’m hoping others learn from our expensive mistake.

Best family-owned, family-friendly restaurant! Great food, great service, great atmoshere--so fun, and what a delight! Came during Hallowe'en and the decorations were top notch! Can't wait to see Mardi Gras Season! Don't miss this spot--if you have been to NOLA, full on appreciation! If you haven't been to New Orleans, you won't even need to after the Ragin' Cajun--they brought NOLA to you! Highly recommend--and don't miss dessert!

I want to start out by saying I love the decor and service here. However, I feel like I went to a completely different restaurant from what was posted in other reviews. The food was largely flavorless. We got Okra, gator, and a seafood boil and none of it was seasoned well. I have eatin all over the world and Louisiana is one of those places and while I don't expect actual New Orleans flavor I did expect it to be better than the Angry Crabshack and it was surprisingly even more bland than that place.

A great change from going out for tacos or pizza. They have delicious Cajun specialties. The shrimp étouffée is crave-able

The expensive gumbo's only flavor was that it tasted of something that was burnt. Some of the rice was very hard. I will not return!🤮

A friend took me here for lunch about 6 weeks ago. We went at an off time.I think it was around 2. The restaurant was not super busy. Service was excellent. Love the decor. My friend and I tried a couple of dishes that we shared and I also got soup as a main entree. Food quality was excellent. The decor is straight out of New Orleans with a little bit of a beach city, CA twist... Good music playing in the background. Majority of the staff have been here a long time. It's not inexpensive, but definitely worth a visit. Would be a great place to celebrate a birthday.

I came here after seeing a Facebook ad for what was advertised as a “Crab Fest.” When I arrived, there was no festival at all—just the regular restaurant. To me, that’s misleading and honestly felt like false advertising. I’ve been to real crab festivals before (with food trucks, multiple vendors, and an actual event atmosphere), and this was nothing like that.
I remembered I had been here once before and only had an appetizer. Even then, my guest didn’t enjoy the food, and this visit didn’t change my opinion. The food isn’t impressive, and for me, it just doesn’t measure up. Maybe it’s a taste preference for the Redondo crowd, but I personally don’t get the hype.
If you’re looking for a authentic Cajun seafood this isn’t it.
