Tourist trap…very noisy. Before being seated i asked the hostess if there was vegan items and she said yes when in fact there was not.I had the guacamole without cheese but it was super spicey.Shame as it was well made.I had to order the chicken salad with chicken on the side but it was tasteless as no dressing.

Our group of 6 people really enjoyed the overall dining experience. We were a mix of locals (Los Angeles, Compton) and out of state travelers. The locals were pleasantly surprised to be introduced to this new place to eat and said they would definitely be returning. We had a mix of items - queso blanco (thicker than expected, but good nonetheless), guacamole, street tacos, salad, fajitas and lobster enchiladas. One complaint I heard was the spicy shrimp wasn't very spicy and that the fajitas had a ton of onions and peppers (which is actually a plus in my book, but I ordered street tacos). My cousin loved the lobster enchiladas. My aunt really enjoyed the mango salad, especially the sliced mangos (welcome surprise). Those of us with the carne asada all thought it was flavorful and tender. Thumbs up on the chips and the drinks. The best part of all is probably the location...great views of the waterfront and an easy walk to explore the other shops/bars nearby.

We had a lot of friends and family travel into town for my sister‘s baby shower last weekend and needed a place to eat that would accommodate 20 people the night before the shower. Riviera Cantina offered to help right away and we are so glad we went with this option. Service was fantastic. Our waitress was phenomenal and so were the sweet food runners. We had 20 people and everything was lightning fast. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. The food and drinks were delicious and prices are very fair. My Dad (who paid the bill) always finds a reason to complain about the restaurants I choose for us to go to. This time he walked out saying I made a great choice. 10/10 recommend!!

The location is fantastic. The decor and ambience is great. They sat us in the bar area so the bartender was our waiter. We couldn't get service from just a waiter or waitress, it had to be the bartender. Mind you we were the biggest group seated. We had to wait so long to order anything because the poor guy was busy making drinks for the entire restaurant. Four out of the 7 people on our table returned their drinks and just stuck to a bottle of wine since you can't go wrong with that. As for the food, 3 of us ordered fajitas and none of us liked it. It was bland and missing a lot of flavor. We had to ask for salt and pepper to add some sort of flavor. El Torito's fajitas are much better. The others ordered other plates off the menu and were complaining on how bland the food is. Overall, the location and environment is really nice and there is ample parking which you need to pay for at the kiosks. That's about it. It's disappointing because I loved the place but unfortunately I will never to go back.
My friend and I ate there Sept 26th, it was really great! Good food and the service was exceptional.

I’ve been here a few times. But this will definitely be my last. Service was slow. It wasn’t even busy. We finally placed our order. I ordered shrimp enchiladas. I got chicken enchiladas (wrong order). Sent them back. Did get the shrimp enchiladas. Shrimps were small (hardly any shrimp)too cheesy. Not tasty. Server did not come by and replenish our water or sodas. As I was walking out, she walked in front of me. Didn’t apologize. Was very rude. Honestly, spent too much $ for lunch the bad service
