It was delightful. The space is cozy and comforting. The staff is exceptional. And the food..... well every was just fantastic. Not fussy or overdone but hearty and delicious. Do not miss the wild Mexican shrimp cocktail!!!!! Well done. Will definitely be on our Redondo rotation!!

My husband and I throughly enjoyed our Valentine Pre Fixe Menu at Salt and Pearl. It was our first time eating there and we plan to return soon. The meal was prepared and cooked very well. Very tasty. Service, especially on a holiday weekend was on spot. Nice addition to Redondo Beach.

Salt & Pearl is a small restaurant with an exuberant atmosphere. The staff is very efficient and attentive. We never had to wait for a glass to be refilled or empty plates removed. It was chilly on our visit, and the doors and windows stay open, so it was a bit chilly at our table. But it wasn't uncomfortable. The food was delicious and interesting. I had the BBQ oysters 3-ways and they were excellent; big and fat. The seafood chowder was buttery, filling and delicious. The Connecticut-style lobster roll was warm, yummy with plenty of lobster, and the Brioche bun was soft & fresh. We had a slice if creme Brulee cheesecake for dessert. We really enjoyed the whole dinner, which was our first here. We'll be back!

Service was not good. Wine was brought to the table but we had to ask twice for wine glasses. Server finally brought wine glasses and then left and did not pour the wine. There was an overall feeling of fend for yourself.

Didn't expect any of it except that my wife and I was excited to try their Tomahawk Tuesday deal, (which by the way it is not per person but per order) and with that..... AMAAAZZZIIIING. The place is not big but very nice, clean and inviting, great atmosphere and ambience and the Tomahawk was cooked perfectly to our liking. The sides and the starters were bigger than I expected and perfect for sharing. Lastly, everyone was very attentive, nice and very helpful considering that we had our baby and they were extremely respectful and accomodating!! would definitely be back and share my experience. Thank you Salt and Pearl!

I love this place-the ambiance, most of the food, the location. I was disappointed that the seafood roll, both lobster and crab meat, didn't taste well at all. The wait-staff were very understanding and I did feel bad because that's usually my go-to. But the rest of the food, the lobster macaroni and cheese, the edamame hummus, and the oysters were beyond AMAZING!

The restaurant is small and very well designed. We had the calamari as a starter and it was wonderful! The short rib pasta and hamachi were also very tasty. The service was a little lacking. Plates and glasses were not cleared between courses and the drinks were an issue. The tonic was flat so I sent my drink back twice and then decided to have wine - it took over 50 min from when I ordered the tonic drink to finally getting a glass of wine. If you keep your drink order simple it's worth a try. A little pricey

The cutest, efficiently run, amazing cocktails made, and impeccable service----can go wrong! Book a reservation or you could be waiting a while, I reserved a table for 2 and got the perfect table. The food options, the timing of each food arriving, the taste, and then service was lovely. Everything tasted great--even the Brussel sprouts which I am not a fan of in general. It was a welcoming vibe that was peaceful, with appropriate music level and it was a whole vibe. I loved it. There is a 2 hr window to stay and then you have to clear out bc this place is popular. I personally love places that do this bc it honors their customers so everyone can enjoy. WIll def be coming again! Thanks for perfect girls dinner experience!

Great birthday brunch/lunch. Excellent food, particularly the Crab Benedict, and very attentive service. Good Bloody Marys too although I'd prefer more horseradish. Very comfortable and the football game was on but not intrusively. Definitely recommended.
