Simply amazing. Did the omakase, every dish was better than the last.
Came here to celebrate our anniversary and had their omakase. Sushi Chitose is a gem! Very high quality fish that I'm still thinking about. My favorites were the Inari, salmon, and toro nigiri. I can probably eat the blue crab hand roll everyday.

I have been a regular visitor here since its opening and can confidently say it offers some of the best sushi in the United States. The chef, Gen, not only impresses with his sushi-making skills but also with the ambiance he creates and his focus on healthy ingredients, among other commendable aspects. It’s a bit of a hidden gem, which means there’s a loyal clientele and a wonderful overall atmosphere. Reservations are essential. Make sure to book in advance and come hungry. That’s part of the etiquette of enjoying top-notch dining.

The sushi pieces were tiny but I suppose that's what you get for that price point omakase.

Okay nothing this good should be in Redondo Beach but it is? Shame on all of the other pretenders. It’s just that superb. Chef Jen scales the culinary heights of Parnassus with ease and grace. A superb experience! You have to slow down and adjust to the tempo of the space and service. You have no better place to go! Trust me!

I have been coming here monthly for the past three years and there's a reason I make the extra effort to come here frequently. The quality of fish supersedes other omakase joints, and the staff and chef are always a joy to be around. You must make a reservation in advance. Bar seating is more preferred as it's a more intimate experience with the fish and the chef. Three years have passed since my first experience here, and in each corresponding experience after the quality of food and service has stayed consistent. Come here for an unpretentious omakase experience where the staff welcome you as family.

Had a wonderful evening at Sushi Chitose with an old friend. We happened on it by accident, but it turned out to be a worthy discovery. The food was excellent and followed traditional Japanese cuisine. You won't find fancy creations such as Dragon or Spider Rolls here, just well made, authentic sushi. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the staff were friendly, although the service was a bit slow due to only limited staff there that evening. We had the Toro, Salmon Skin, and Spicy Tuna, along with mushroom appetizer and soup. Prices are reasonable. Reservations are needed, and the place is small. I recommend!

The omakase set costs $75, and you'll be satisfied with the quality and the amount that will fill you up! ?✨ Ankimo is about an additional $10? I asked. It was absolutely delicious. . Everything was really delicious. I am very happy with the small size of Shari. Above all, the rice was so delicious! ! I went on a weekday, Wednesday, right when it opened. I didn't know that reservations were required, so I ended up going without one, but they let me in. ? Dinner time is reasonably dark and the atmosphere is very nice. It looks bright because of the iPhone's camera function, but it's actually quite dark!
Absolutely amazing, what a hidden gem!
This is one of the best omakases we've ever had and by far our favorite in LA.
Great quality food but Pricey for interior atmosphere and the service with one server handling 10 tables at the same time.
