TLDR; FAST SERVICE BUT A STRANGE TWIST ON HAINAN CHICKEN RICE.Take it for what you may, but I believe the recipe used here for the broth and chicken doesn’t resemble either the Singaporean or Thai traditional recipe of Hainan Chicken rice. For the price i would consider this on the more expensive side. The meal is filling, however I wouldn’t call this authentic. Soup costs extra (oddly) and I cant remember a Hainan chicken rice place where you were required to pay for the soup as a separate dish. If you are accustomed to traditional hainan chicken rice, this is likely not the place for you. Save yourself the disappointment. If you are looking for a place to merely fill you up for $15, then you should come here.

Finally got around to trying this place, and it's *definitely* going on the list for repeat take-out! Mostly they have variations on chicken and rice plates, so you may want to plan on eating all vegetables the next day to make up for the carbs and meat, but the chicken, rice, and sauces are all *really* good.

I order delivery from the south Redondo store often. The last 3 orders I received were a huge disappointment. The chicken tasted like it had been cooked many hours ago & sat there. It was not fairly warm & moist like it used to be. Semi-dried out. The usually delicious rice was also “off”. Not moist kinda dry & tasteless. Sad to see this happen, we used to LOVE their food.

Taishi fried chicken is the truth. It's so good. The chicken is delicious and a perfect seasoning / moisture each time. The garlic rice is incredible. I love just dumping both sauces on everything and diving in, cause the combo of all the flavors is such a win.I only get takeout from here, and they're so quick. I'll call and they say 5-10 minutes, so I only need to hang up the phone and get in my car right away to pick up the food.The portions are big. A great post-workout single meal, or can be 2 meals if I'm not as hungry when I order.Parking: There's probably 20 or so spaces in the strip mall

Small sit down , a lot of take out . Choices of either steamed or fried chicken . Both very tender . The rice very good . As t the suggestion of the the person at the counter taking our orders , for 6; he suggested we order the family meal , which had half and half of each kind . Different sauces, sweet, spicy , and choices of chicken broth soup or herbal broth. We ordered both . Several types of sweet teas. All very reasonably priced !! Very pleased with service , food .Parking: Could be a problem but we had no trouble with parking . Small strip mall and parking shared by another chicken restaurant, nail salon and martial arts .

I got the original for my wife and the fried one for me. They are both actually really delicious! The original had really moist chicken and the sauces that came with it was really good! Also, the workers are really nice and friendly. I will definitely come back!
Heard good things about this spot. It's located in a very narrow plaza with limited parking. But the ambiance of the restaurant is pretty cool, and hip, with cool artwork. The service is absolutely exceptional here, I been here twice, and is always greeted with great hospitality. Food, I've only tried the original hainan chicken rice both times I been here, but the dish is outstanding, absolutely delicious. Flavors are all there, very clean flavors, very fulfilling, and doesn't leave you feeling bad, like when you eat fast food. They also don't cheap on their portion. I thought the price for portion is great. 5 stars, amazing spot. I recommend it to everyone.

Ordered food to go on 09/25/2023 around 1230pm aka lunchtime.Ordered one original and fried hainan chicken plate. Upon opening the bag to eat for lunch. Behold, no utensils or napkins. Usually food shops will ask you if you need utensils.However, no one asked (I'm looking at you lady who took and delivered the order) and now we're left with trying to eat with our hands.I'm sure the food is good but the service is a definite fail. The lady had some type of earphones on and constantly asked me to repeat the order. Way to go!In case you are looking to order to go; I'd recommend asking the staff if they packed any utensils or napkins. Or make sure you have some lying around.
