The Grain Cafe - Redondo Beach

They have the worst customer service. I walked in to pick up an order, no greeting. Both people just stared at me and when I asked for the order, it was on the counter and she just pointed to it very rudely. I would never come here and spend my money. This place is absolutely horrible.

We have dined here 6 times now since July 2025 They have a large selection of vegan foods to choose from. The servers are very helpful when asked questions. A nice place to eat.

Solid vegan spot with a huge all-day menu that makes it hard to choose just one thing. They’ve got all the comforting staples—waffles, pancakes, French toast, crepes, burritos, sandwiches, burgers, pizza, etc. I arrived at breakfast and went with the breakfast burrito, plus nachos to go, and both were flavorful, filling, and hit the spot for my hungover drive back to the desert. If you’re in the area and want a dependable vegan meal with lots of variety, The Grain Cafe is definitely worth a stop.

I love this restaurant 😍. This is the 2nd time I've visited since my return to California. The staff is always so sweet and friendly. Good food too!

Just had my first visit to The Grain Café in Redondo Beach and it definitely won’t be my last. I ordered a Chicken (not real chicken) curry spinach wrap stuffed with fresh veggies and paired it with their roasted potatoes. Everything tasted super fresh and satisfying, and the portion size was spot on. The wrap was colorful, crunchy, and full of flavor, and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly.

To drink, I tried the ginger lemonade, and wow, it was refreshing with just the right kick of ginger. It balanced the meal really well.

The vibe of the place was relaxed and welcoming, and service was friendly. Overall, a great first impression. Excited to come back and enjoy the same thing.

The first time I got food here it was really good, but I picked up the same dish the other night, which was the kale bowl and the sweet potatoes were undercooked while the Tempeh was overcooked…just didn’t seem consistent

One of my favorite vegan spots. They have a great variety so there’s something for everyone. Their club sandwich and nachos are delicious! Even my non vegan family enjoys their food.

We had a big event where we booked the whole restaurant! They were AMAZING, very welcoming, accommodating, and nice to interact with.

And the food was amazing and every single person, from the 50 people we invited, loved the food and atmosphere!

Huge selection of salads, sandwiches, entrees and desserts. I had the burger with a side of potatoes and a blondie for dessert. Everything was delicious and fresh. Staff was very helpful. Will return!

The Service is ok, but their plates that are not desserts are kind of disappointing. I was expecting more from this place, but oh well, try the places next door.

The restaurant was full, and my waitress Viviana was the only server. She kept up with the demands of a packed house, and the food was great! Thank you Viviana for the great service.

Our latest Grain Cafe delicious meal was a late takeout order. The food was fresh, hot, on time and packed nicely. We really enjoyed the cobb salad and the burrito. The soup of the day was outstanding with a ton of flavor. The black beans and rice were a nice hearty side and the green sauce had a little kick but not too much heat. The cobb salad was a lovely presentation and the flavors were great. Overall we got great food at a good value and the location is convenient and very nice inside.. it feels very warm and cozy. The food here is very fresh and we will come back and dine in soon!
