Micayla was friendly and attentive. Made our dinning experience more enjoyable. Food and drinks were excellent.

Everything was great. Food and service. Disappointed to see a family feeding the large dog from their plates. Just like to have a nice dinner with seeing a dog at every place you go.

Celebrated 2 birthdays for a date night. Great steaks and service. The sides were delicious especially the potatoes.

We went for our anniversary and I was looking forward to trying the wagyu sampler. Very good but even tho I got medium rare, inside was perfect but outside was a bit charred where you could taste it. Puréed potatoes were amazing as well as the truffled risotto scallop appetizer. Cocktail list was ok so just tried one. Ok. Overall, would definitely go back again.

Perfect as always and every time I have visited. The staff is extraordinary as well as the food. It is such a delightful delicious venue.

Our food was absolutely amazing. We had the shrimp and bread appetizer. Both were so delicious. For entrees my niece had the ribeye and my husband and I had the tomahawk for two. Both steaks were prepared medium rare as ordered and seasoned perfectly. We ordered the mashed potato's and asparagus for sides. Both were delicious. This was a very special meal and we have never been disappointed at The Rex.

Nice location and ambience . Friendly service. Food was good. Steak was a little tough and salty for being cooked medium. Baby carrots and fries as a side were tasty but salty too. The octopus as an appetizer was smoky charred and delicious.

I had a great experience at Rex Steakhouse in Redondo Beach. I started with the Captain's Shrimp and warm sourdough bread, both were flavorful and perfectly prepared. The Caesar salad was fresh and well-dressed, with a nice balance of flavor. For the main course, I had the ribeye cooked medium, served with smooth potato purée and crisp asparagus. The steak was tender and juicy with a perfect sear, and the sides complemented it beautifully. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere made for a memorable and satisfying meal.

The Rex was amazing! Exceeded our expectations. Ambience was excellent. Service was top notch. Favorites: sourdough, shrimp cocktail, tagliatelle with duck ragu, mushrooms and salted caramel budino! Honorable mention: roasted potatoes and pavlova. The filet mignon sadly was not it. Super chewy. I would definitely go back!

The quality of the food does not match the price. Our steak was way too salty and chewy, the meat tasted very low quality even though this is supposed to be an upscale steakhouse. The service was subpar, we were celebrating a special occasion and it was never once mentioned, and they never asked if we were enjoying our food (we were not). The sides were bland and mediocre as well.

I have eaten here twice and both times the service has been incredible and the highlight of the experience. The servers are attentive, knowledgeable, caring, but also don't rush anything. They make you feel catered too and appreciated. The food has been great, always cooked well and is up to expectations.

The manager name is coner who is extremely disrespectful individual.
Our kids food was delivered almost 30 minutes late even though all the staff members were extremely understandable and respectful the most important person who is the manager was extremely rude
I do not recommend this person to anyone even if you are not hungry and you just want to be there for experience.

We had a wonderful experience at The Rex and do every time we visit. The staff is on top of every detail. We were very well taken care of by the entire house. Great wine selection and the food is outstanding. Always a treat to dine here and we will keep coming back.

It was amazing and the staff was great. I set on the balcony and when I stared getting cold one of the servers brought the heating lamp near me. It looks beautiful inside, the music was not super loud which was great. Oh, the Porterhouse steak was delicious and tender.
