Service was pleasant.Food was very average. My husband and I both had tomato soup starters. That was the best part of the meal. My husband then had a burger. He said it was pretty good flavor but soggy from all the sauce. I had the ahi tuna salad. The tuna was peppery but tender but the salad was way overdressed so it was also very soggy. We had a bread pudding (it was comped due to it being our anniversary) but it has a touch of sweetness but it was a weird texture. I might come again for drinks - but probably not for food.
Everything was good. Not excellent but good. We sat outside on the patio. I cant get over how people / customer just sit at there table after they are done eating....is this a new thing? How do you ever turn the table to make money? I'm in Redondo beach eating not a bistro outside in Paris.
Table next to us with two dogs- we're all over us and our table and chairs. Extremely unsanitary and rude
Once again I regret choosing this place. I made reservations weeks ago & called to confirm a couple days before & mentioned that we would be having happy hour. After we were seated I asked for a HH menu and was told that they don't serve HH on holidays...Halloween is a holiday? It would have been nice if it said that on their site or I was told when I called. Service has always been bad here. At least 3 different times a server(runner) came to our table & set down food that we didn't order--it's like they just picked the first table they saw. Our drinks were watered down $14?? The guac and chips were pretty good. The brussels sprouts were bland and the flatbreads were just ok. Between the mediocre food and poor service, I can't think of any reason to keep trying this place hoping it will improve. It won't
Great all around family dinner out. Ambience was perfect, server was wonderful, and we went on a Tuesday and couldn't believe the $2 burger specials! We will definitely be back.
We celebrated our birthday there and had a wonderful time!! Especially thanks to our service Alice who gave us a pleasant time.
Michael and Alex made sure our evening was amazing. Matty, the bartender does an outstanding job to give you the cocktail that you request. And what can I say you get a burger that is out of this world for two dollars where can you do that anywhere else? This restaurant is amazing.
Appreciate wait staff! They accommodate my sr citizen mother in law and always do such a nice job on birthdays.
This time we had a table outside. As usual. Staffs are friendly and helpful. We really had a good time thanks to you! Thank you, The Rockefeller!
Overall, this was as good as usual. However, there was a serious fly problem that continually interrupted our lunch & conversation. That needs to be addressed.

Our visit began with being welcomed by our server, Matty, who was great. He was kind and patient with all of our special requests. The burgers were perfectly cooked as were the sweet potato bombs. He checked in and took care of refilling our drinks as needed. The entire experience was enjoyable in every way!
We ordered kids' meals (chicken tenders with fries, fruit, and juice). Right away we noticed a problem: kids' meals don't include drinks. No child is eating without something to drink, so the policy feels very unfriendly for families. On top of that, we asked for bottled water. Anthony told us they didn't have bottled water, but when we asked for sparkling water, he said they “only have it in bottles.” We ended up ordering two bottles, but the inconsistency was frustrating. Next, we asked about bottomless mimosas. Anthony said the champagne used was “Gelato,” but then said they were out and only had Wycliff. We ended up DoorDashing our own bottles. We also ran into confusion with the side juices. At first, Anthony told us they were $1 each, so we ordered four (guava, cranberry, orange). Then he came back and said they were actually $5 each because we didn't order bottomless mimosas. Again, misleading and inconsistent. When we asked for a manager, Tiffany came over. She was dressed in shorts and a loose top, which didn't feel professional for a manager. She explained they hadn't served “Gelato” champagne in a long time and only used Wycliff. That made it sound like either someone wasn't being honest or the staff simply aren't trained properly. Finally, the food itself was a huge letdown. The chicken and waffles were bland, the chicken was dry and chewy, and the waffles were hard. Even the kids' chicken nuggets were tough our little one wouldn't even eat them. None of us enjoyed the food. Overall, between the misleading service, overpriced and inconsistent drink policies, poorly prepared food, and lack of family-friendly accommodations, this was not the experience we wanted or expected. We won't be back.
It was a nice experience, now that they have extra outdoor sitting with the new back patio, it is easier to make resevations. It is a lovely casual restaurant, 100% fit for a beach town. Food was good, we ordered grilled fish tacos and ahi tuna tacos and we were full after our meal. Cocktails are also good and well priced. It was a wonderful experience and i 100% recommend.
Server Anthony was awesome; the food was delicious so like Arnold says...”I'll Be Back” :)
Dinner at The Rockefeller was such a treat. From the moment we were seated, our server Cristian set the tone for a relaxed and genuinely enjoyable evening. Cristian was wonderful - attentive without being overbearing, and consistently thoughtful in how he guided us through the menu. His recommendations were spot-on and, importantly, felt authentic. It never came across as an attempt to pad the bill; instead, it was clear he truly wanted us to enjoy the best of what The Rockefeller has to offer. Every dish he suggested turned out to be a highlight, and the value was excellent. It's refreshing to have service that feels both professional and personal, and Cristian really made our evening shine. Pair that level of care with the quality of the food, and you have the kind of dining experience that leaves you already looking forward to your next visit.
