So I came in and I got the chance burger as well as the truffle fries and they were both phenomenal

Some of the best burgers I ever had in the south Bay definitely recommend the spot they have good portions and the flavors are always bomb and the customer service was excellent and you could customize a burger in multiple ways and we also have a patio on the outside, but yeah, I’m definitely gonna come back!

Amaizing burgers!!!!!! This is not a sit down restaurant. This is an order inside, grab a drink and a bag of chips from the liquor store, wait outside for your order and then eat it in your car, outside picnic bench or nearby park. Regardless, the burger I ordered was probably one of the best gourmet burgers I have ever had.

Stopped by Standing Room for a brisk bite and was pleasantly surprised by the elevated simplicity. The single cheeseburger arrived juicy and melty, with a perfectly charred bun and punchy sauce. Fries were crunchy with a hint of rosemary. The service counter buzzed gently, but they called my name with a smile. Ideal for a no-fuss, flavour-packed lunch.

Recommended dishes: Hapa Burger

This place is literally inside a liquor store, which threw me off at first, but the food is next-level. I ordered the Napoleon burger—it’s massive, stacked with short rib, bacon, and fried egg, all on a soft brioche bun. Every bite was juicy and over-the-top in the best way. They also have kimchi fries that are spicy, tangy, and perfectly crisp. Limited seating inside, but totally worth the wait

Great burger

Located inside Catalina liquor store. There's a small private parking lot but there's also street parking.

There's a small bar with two bar stools inside and a couple of outdoor tables with seats in the corner of the parking lot.

The menu has lots of yummy starters, lots of burger options, and Sammies.

The food is delicious and portions are generous. Prices are a bit high considering it's not a sit down restaurant.

As a side note, I discovered they have a larger location in Torrance. I'll probably go to that location next time.

Family. You're family if you go to The Standing Room. Entertained. You receive a (mini) complimentary show that could rival shows in Vegas. The owners soeak only English but they could speak another language if they wanted. I will need to update with a photo or maybe I'll just switch to another Google account and leave the photo there. I'd leave 100 good reviews. If I could. Like I said. You re family

The food is very expensive right there

Getting a burger from the back on a liquor store may appear like a bad a idea, but not here! We stumbled across this place 5 years ago while visiting for a wedding. We are back this weekend and decided to bring our kids here…and guess what? They burgers are still delicious!
No fancy tables or a host waiting to sit you. No fancy tables or a waiter to serve, but this food does not need the bells and whistles; it stands on it own!
