European-style bakery—and THANK GOD for that! There are no overly sweet baked goods, no excessive butter, grease, or loads of sugar like typical American junk. This is a different kind of bakery, and the best I’ve ever visited in the country. If you’ve ever been to France or Italy and tasted their baked goods, that’s what you’ll find here: freshly made with simple, natural ingredients. Everyone needs to understand and appreciate the process that Tommy and Atticus are using. The sourdough is REAL sourdough, just how it should be—no artificial taste, no commercial yeast, just good old bread that I’ve missed so much.

Please don’t ever change your recipes, and keep the natural cooking process and ingredients. People who know, they know! I visit this bakery at least three times a week and not gaining any weight!lol The only tiny comment I have is to maybe hire more staff to keep the line moving faster. Thank you!

I maybe go once or twice a month now. I love trying their weekly sandwiches and getting something for my sweet tooth. The coffee isn't the greatest but that makes sense, it's a bakery, their bread is amazing!
Even such I will get whatever LE drink they have.

I was excited to go into this place as it was walking distance from where I’m staying. I’m currently helping a friend with her new baby who is currently in the hospital. I’m walking in with my service dog and my friends tiny little golden doodle who was sitting in the bottom of the Baby stroller. So that I can order something to eat and take it with me. I was asked by the first person if my dog was a service dog and I said yes and showed them my dogs tag. Well, I was waiting for my drink which they got incorrect in the first place. Another person told me that I had to leave because of the other dog that was in the stroller. And I thought it was extremely rude , considering the situation when you’re with a baby and I was just simply waiting for something to go. I will never go back and I highly tell anybody who has any thoughts about going to think twice because of the situation that they put me in

Love this place! Their sandwiches of the day are the best and their bread so soft. Don’t mind the line it moves fast. That it’s always bustling is a credit to their food. Great place for a pastry too. Love how often they change up their selections.

First I have had better croissants but I don't want to drive 1 hour to Lou on the block. I tried this place because of an MSN spot I saw. If you just want a pastry and and drink 10 to 20. But if you want a Premade sandwich and a drink 20-40. I got 5 croissants
2 plain 2 almond 1 chocolate 30.
The Chocolate Croissant was the only one that had the chocolate baked in. The almond croissant is cut in half after cooking and pasted with almond puree.
At the Block I got 10 pastries a freshmade footlong sandwich and 2 chai lattes for 70. Here it would cost you almost 90. Inflation. The croissant where a 4 out of 5 not quite the top buttery flakey fall apart layered i prefer.
I will go back and try some of the other baked goods. The lines go fast did not try the bread another day

Quite frankly one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. I took a bite of the sandwich of the day and didn’t pause to take a picture. Sourdough baguette had amazing texture and flavor, fresh and hearty ingredients in abundance, great combination. Sampled each of the pastries and they were delicious, fresh and high quality ingredients all around. This place is part of my rotation going forward!
