We went here for Cinco De Mayo. We started off with some complimentary chips and salsa. Then we ordered some guacamole which was ok, I thought it was a bit salty. For my entree I ordered a carne asada taco and al pastor taco. I liked the Al pastor more than the carne asada. I thought the carne was a bit too salty for my palette. Two tacos for $15.50 if you want rice and beans it's extra. The tacos were enough for me. Service was great, Joe was tentative, nice, and efficient. He was very helpful and made the experience delightful. Ambiance is nice, we didn't have reservations so we just sat at the railing table which faced the street and sidewalk which was fine.

Surf and turf burrito is definitely a must order. It is served like a sushi roll and the proportions of shrimp, asada, and the other ingredients are perfect bite sized. The cheese dip was also good, very cheesy could and tortillas were good! Shrimp enchiladas were solid, a little too much cheese on top but I still enjoyed the entree overall. I would probably try something else out next time though. Inside restaurant is smaller but they have a bigger patio space to eat as well. Service was great! I want to go back for the happy hour as they seem to have some good options!

So bummed with this place! Because the ambience and location is great and the service is solid but the fooooood my man and i gave this spot TWO tries, once for tacos/lunch (see pics) and again today for brunch and it's so underwhelming- flavor is overall SO underwhelming. ALMOST completely missing. When we came for tacos, we got 6 diff ones to try a variety, they were average at best, except the cinnamon carnitas & chicken mole, these two were below average. Literally meat on a tortilla with no flavor at all. For brunch we got the short rib sope(the only okay thing), the birria breakfast burrito (disappointing) and the tres leches French toast (EXTREMELY disappointing) the owner is super sweet and the only thing great here is the drinks. GREAT drinks! But the foood?! Will never eat here again.

Enjoyed a relaxing outdoor brunch at this popular Mexican restaurant in the Torrance Hollywood Riviera. We picked a nice corner spot with partial shield under the umbrella. It’s a dog friendly restaurant but we wanted to be away from others with our young puppy. The food came fairly quickly, we highly recommend the Octopus Ceviche if you like octopus. I had the Wednesday Burrito special, and my wife had two tacos specials with Asadas. Both were delicious. Our server, Anthony, was prompt and friendly, multiple other servers stopped by multiple times made you feel welcome and made sure we have what we needed.Parking: Parking: a bit of hit and miss in this popular district, once you find a street parking spot, I recommend using the QR code and pay electronically, it’s relatively painless. Another person tried to mess with the meter and sometimes the screen is hard to read, especially under the sun.

Service and food can improve if management stays on top of it. Who would want to eat their food cold and who wants a rude hostess? Not me!

Best happy hour ever? Yep! Went for a walk with my baby on Monday and stopped here for a quick happy hour bite, love that they have margarita Monday and then taco Tuesday! I loved it so much I brought my mom back on Wednesday that same week! They do happy hour 3-6 on weekdays and have a good selection of tacos to choose from among other items. Really loved the shrimp taco and the mole taco and the margaritas are great! This may be our new spot on weekdays!

First timer here but after my experience I will definitely be back! I dined here with my coworkers for happy hour. We had a large group with many orders but the waiters were on top of it. They frequently checked on us making sure we had everything we needed. For drinks I had the chica rosa which is delish! It contains Tito's vodka with watermelon and lime; so refreshing. For food I had the surf bowl with shrimp and tried a variety of their appetizers. My favorites were the octopus ceviche and surf and turf burrito. As for my favorite dessert it would have to be their chocolate mousse.

Went to Vida the other night with a group of friends, and I decided to try the asada and shrimp fajitas combo with double black beans. It was flavorful and filling and you get a good amount of meat with your meal especially for the price. The service was a bit slow and we had to ask for a few items more than once. It's also hard to hold a conversation because it can be incredibly loud when sitting inside. If you're going on a chilly night be sure to have a jacket because it's cold even inside with the doors open. Overall, food was good, I'd go back if I was in the mood for fajitas.

Service was really great! Only had the carne asada tacos and the fish taco (fried cod). The carne asada was ok, but the fish taco was yummy Only thing is that the tacos were a little expensive

Was a great restaurant. Had my daughter/husband and grandkids plus my mom here and everyone had a great meal and a phenomenal experience. This is a must try for anyone visiting in Redondo Beach.

This is for 3/2. We walked in at 7pm and we were put on a waitlist, quoted 25 mins wait. We received the first opentable text let us know we were on the wait list. So we walked around to kill time, 35 mins later and not a call or text so we decided to go back and check in as soon as the host saw us she said oh I called you guy and no answer so I delete your wait. Totally a lie. I showed her my text messages and there was messages about table being ready. She did not even try to fix this., she said oh maybe I got the wrong but that didn't make sense because I received the first text and even told her I did when she first put us on in the wait list. We asked for a manager. I showed him the text I received and his response was "oh that shows your messages not your calls" so I showed him my call to prove that I had no missed call from the restaurant and all he said was sorry guys. First off all i shouldn't have to go that far to prove something on my end, I am a guest, second he was very passive aggressive and once he try to recover this situation a simple "hey guys let me see what I can do and get you table". I honestly believe the host deleted our name without reaching out to us from the moment we first walked her response was I don't have a tables instead of suggesting a wait. I feel very disrespected, they honestly made us feel like we were not wanted. Very disappointed in Tim the managers service, not once did he try to fix this. As a restaurant manager that also works with opentable, I can tell you that no text was ever sent and this is not how you recover a mistake. I would like a response from corporate.
