We were invited by close family friends for dinner, it was a delightful experience, staff were friendly and inviting, restaurant is not massive so tables are close but not overbearing, we dined upstairs that had only one toilet. The food was good and enjoyable, decent Chinese chicken dishes and noodles, didn't get a chance to try any other varieties this time.Read less

Delicious, you NEED to come here! The owner was so nice, she made us feel very welcome! The food was so good, you can replace tofu instead of meat/seafood, and the food is delicious! I had the lunch special, and I loved it. The Thai iced tea was the BEST! There was almond milk sub for the milk in the Thai Tea, and it was one of the best iced teas I’ve had! I’ll definitely come back just for the tea. It was very clean, and well taken care of.

Underwhelming flavors, they add no spice ?️ to the dishes. Larb salad was limited to ground chicken. Sure charge almost $20 for a small portion with beautiful garnishes because business is near the Pacific Coast.

This is our go to Thai place in the southbay. The pad see you is fantastic as well as their seafood curry.

Like several of the other reviewers from yelp who have given Yum Thai 1 star, we've enjoyed countless meals for years here! Because Nui and several of his family members left the restaurant, we haven't visited as frequently, so we decided to stop in. The place was like a ghost town with only 1 table sat (a 2 top). We walked in and the server at the computer terminal looked right at us without any greeting. We sat ourselves, and then another server emerged from the kitchen only to completely ignore our presence. We sat for another 5 minutes, and decided to walk out. Both servers stared at us as we were leaving, but still not one word! This would have NEVER happened had the old crew had been there, so now I realize why the place was empty. With so many great choices to dine at, I will be spending my time and money at places where my business is appreciated.

PARENTS BEWARE! If you have young children in this area do not go to this establishment for help with an emergency potty. That is against their policy and in a bizarre twist their staff has either no brain, heart or latitude to allow a 3 year old to use their bathroom. For those with young children you have likely been blown away by other establishments being flexible and helpful with you children. Not this place. Didn't try their food and don't plan to.

I'm not sure what happened to this place but it is not as good as it used to be. Their lunch specials are very reasonably priced though. My entree was good, but my papaya salad was too salty and their house salad dressing has changed. It used to be a sesame dressing bow it's some mayo based dressing. Their fried rice was mediocre at best. Step it up guys!

If I could they wouldn't even get a star. We went for lunch and I ordered the pad Thai and I had noticed that it tasted and smelled off. It was as if it was cooked in a pan the was cleaned with a musty old sponge or dirty rag. It doesn't end there. When we asked to take it off the bill and get something else the server was against it and had an awful attitude about it. She ended up taking it off of the bill, but refused to take a new order. Following that she threw away the food, and spoke to another woman at the restaurant and then from there that woman had also gave us crossed looks. This is in NO WAY good customer service.

I just apologize. I forgot to take pics. Nonetheless, I will try my best with the review. My boyfriend and I came to this restaurant. There was no wait and we were immediately seated. There were about 3 tables that were either served or in the verge of finishing their meal. The restaurant was nicely decorated. The server walked us to our table and walked away. She didn't offer us water. We had questions about the menu, but it appears that there were only 2 servers. There was another employee working on take it orders only. We were ready to order, but could not find anyone to take our order. I had to flag down the first server that gave us eye contact because no one was managing the floor to see if any customers needed anything. We ordered a Thai iced tea and a hot tea for our beverages. For food, we ordered the green papaya salad, tom kha, and the bbq chicken. The Thai tea was done perfectly with the perfect mixture of tea and half and half. It wasn't too sweet. 5/5 The green papaya salad was perfect. The lime dressing was wonderful. The salad had julienne green beans, carrots, and cherry tomatoes. Crushed peanuts were sprinkled in the salad. It was garage when 3 or 4 romaine lettuce leaves. I have this dish 5/5. The tom kha was delicious. It was sweet and sour and had coconut milk. We ordered ours with chicken. There was mushroom, tomatoes, and lemongrass in the soup. The soup was topped off with some green onions. It would be better if the pot had something to keep the soup warm for the entire meal, like other Thai restaurants. We were enjoying the other food and then came back to finishing our cold soup. I have to deduct 1 point for that. 4/5. The bbq chicken had good flavors, but it was so dry. Even the dark meat was very dry. The honey dipping sauce was really good. If they could figure out how to not make the chicken so dry, this would be a go to for be. 2/5. The customer service was 2/5. There were enough people, but they wouldn't come out from the kitchen. If they came out, they wouldn't make eye contact. There was one lady that wouldn't smoke and just seemed annoyed the entire time. I recalled askiing her to show me the size of how a bowl of soup looks like compared to the pot. She used her hand to show me and both the bowl and the pot seem to be the same size based on what she was trying to show me! How hard is it to show me the bowl and the pot?

At the end of a strip mall with plenty of parking. There was inside and outside seating. We sat wherever we wanted and our drink orders were taken right away. My wife had orange chicken and it was very good. The star of the night was the asparagus seafood, wow it was good. I've never had an asparagus dish with this much asparagus. The dishes didn't come with rice, but I highly recommend getting some. The sauce in this dish with rice was excellent. You need to try this place!
