This place is terrific. VERY reasonable prices and the food is great. The people who work here are also super nice and friendly. Yes, it's not Michelin-star cuisine, but there are $6 sandwiches so what do you expect? Ingredients are fresh and tasty. I'm not saying people are going to rush here as a destination, but if you're in the building anyway, definitely get your snack or meal here. In these times of insane inflation, it's nice to get a solid lunch and drink for less than $10. Good luck finding that at many other places in downtown Redwood City!!

I order a grilled chicken on pita with avocado. Th chicken was boiled not grilled at all and not seasoned. The avocado was brown, disgusting, I did not dare to eat it. Very disappointing. , definitely not coming back.

Chicken special was especially more bone, fat, rice than chicken. Only about 3 Tablespoons dry chicken. Convenient only if stuck here for jury duty.

This cafe is such a great find! They have lots of variety and healthy food and drinks. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming and prepare your food however you like. It's worth the visit if you want a healthy alternative.

Unappealing cafeteria with no desire for quality. Ordered an iced latte for ~$4.25 and it just tasted horrible. It was so bitter and they diluted it with water to be cheap on milk. Asked them if they could remake it correctly and they shrugged it off. I threw it away. What a waste of money.

Amjad the owner and his wife run this restaurant with such great customer service. I came Here with my girlfriend and got the el Camino sandwich on Dutch crunch. If your on the go and can't afford the time to go far, this is the place to Go to. Amazing customer service and amazing food that comes with an affordable price.
So... I was trying to figure out what I could do for my dude for Blasted Valentine's Day. I called a few different courier services to see if I could have donuts delivered to his work and the courier quoted over $100 just for delivery. Nope. Found 400 Cafe here on yelp, called and spoke to Amjad. I asked him if a delivery of breakfast snacks was possible to a close distance from his Cafe and to my surprise he said sure no problem! Ordered bagels for the guys and a burrito for my dude. It was delivered on time and everyone was pleased...including me! Amjad is awesome and I plan on visiting there to ear myself in the near future. Thank you, Amjad!!

In office building not on street but easy to access. People were super nice. Breakfast burrito was good nothing spectacular, used fries for potatoes and was wrapped a little thick to eat but not bad for the price. Would pickup again with instructions to make it more to my liking.

Needed a quick place to get some grub while studying at the San Mateo library nearby. The owner makes this place a nice spot to come to. He is polite, very friendly, and helpful. On another note, their salad portions are huge. You can easily split this between 2 hungry people or 3 not so hungry people. Haha
