One of the most pleasant experiences in a while such a warm environment, the staff was amazing, VERY accommodating to our young kids. Don't live close but plan to go again soon!
Food, service and ambiance was 5 star. The items were prepared with perfection - appetizers, main courses etc. Clayton took great care of us; he was super helpful guiding us through the menu during our visit. Definitely worth revisiting. Very impressed by the quality of food and service.

Consistently good Indian fine dining. One of the oldest places for North Indian food in the Bay Area and never disappoints. Their selection of beverages are perfect pairings for the food as well. Highly recommend!

Updated as of 10/18/25 had a wonderful time at broadway masala for dinner. Their avocado bhel is a must try 😊
The main course was tasty and warm hospitality.
We recently ordered Saag Paneer and Lamb Chops for takeout. Unfortunately, the Saag Paneer lacked flavor and tasted a bit undercooked, and the Lamb Chops were also on the dry side.
We’ve enjoyed food from here in the past, so this experience was a bit disappointing. Hoping it was just an off day.

We went there with friends. The service and food were excellent. The food was not greasy and typical Indian restaurant type. Will go back for sure!
One of our favorite places for Indian cuisine. Our Server is always so on top of everything and the food is DELICIOUS & Fresh!
The quality of the food wasn't what we expected but the service was excellent but to be fair there were only 2 tables occupied at peak lunch hour.
Broadway Masala is one of my favorite restaurants in Redwood City. I love the staff, especially Swati and Sunny, who go above and beyond to make everyone's experience fantastic. I highly recommend you go for special memories!
Misleading menus and absurd prices. Ordered the Butter Chicken through Grubhub, I was thinking for 23.95, this probably includes rice or bread or something and checked on their menu, where it said that it is served with Naan and Rice (for a price of 18.95, but Grubhub tax, I know). Well, turns out they really sell a curry for $24 without anything. Guess who had to cook rice after ordering… For those wondering, a side of rice is another $6, probably to have it salted you will have to pay another $3… Oh yeah and no one’s surprise the portion was small, the lassi was the size of a small coffe at Starbucks. Terrible business practice, would recommend Zareen’s as a good Indian alternative with decent business practices.

This place is a decent downtown restaurant with nice ambience, but the food isn’t great. I tried it on a weekend for dinner. The menu is a bit pricey, though that’s expected for a downtown Redwood City location. Unfortunately, the taste was just average and not up to the mark.
The rumali roti was soggy, thick, and had an unpleasant baking soda taste and smell. The chicken biryani was average at best, and the fig and walnut kofta was disappointing—just soggy balls served in tomato ketchup.
Parking is another issue. Since it’s downtown, you have to pay for parking, and it can be hard to find a spot.
You can visit this place if you’re looking to enjoy drinks and a few decent appetizers in a downtown setting, but don’t expect much from the main dishes.

All the appetizers and entrees we chose we excellent! There five of us dinning and they scaled the proportions so that there we plenty for each person without even asking. The service team was very friendly and attentive. They even remember us from two month back when we ate here. I couldn't have asked for more. This will become our go to restaurant when we are looking for delicious Indian cuisine.
Great food including dishes that are beyond the usual north Indian menus. Loved the chocolate rasmalai! Excellent friendly service. Our party of 8 thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
