Canyon Inn is a Redwood City classic. The menu’s got great variety, but I always come back for the Scott’s/hacksaw/british burgers and a cold beer. The vibe is laid-back, deep history, and it’s the kind of spot that just gets it right. It’s one of those places that feels like the heart of the community—timeless and always welcoming.

I came back to the Canyon Inn for the first time in many years. Shame on me. The place has so much rich history, most of which is displayed on the walls. Lots of 49er nostalgia. I met the longtime owner Tim, and he greeted me like an old friend.

The food is classic comfort with lots of options and generous portions. You won’t go home hungry. A perfect place to take the family.

I’ll be back soon!

Great place for friends and family's or just to have a.beer and watch the game...been going there for decades and it hasn't lost its touch...

Vegetarian options: Onion rings are killer!

Parking: Don't be discouraged on the limited parking space...you can park on the street across the street. Etc the food is well worth it.
