I've been here before and enjoyed the ribs and the terrific breakfast brisket sandwich. But today, not so much. The brisket was very dry, even after slathering it in BBQ sauce. The beans a great and a little soupy so the brisket went in there to get it down. Also, the "cornbread " is sheet polenta and kinda greasy. These part of lunch was their mac and cheese which is more like an alfredo sauced pasta - but good.
When the brisket is good here, it's simply outstanding. Unfortunately, the quality of the food over the last six months I've eaten here has been hit or miss and lately, more miss than hit...
The service has been so-so from the start. The food is expensive. The servings are far from generous.

This was my first time here. I love the atmosphere here and the relaxed vibe is perfect. Was able to watch some college football on the big TV on the outside patio. However, I must say that I was somewhat let down by the pulled pork. The flavor was simply lacking. Maybe I just came on an off night, because others have really raved about the food here. Wanted to actually try the brisket, but they were out. Overall, I like the venue, but I’ll have to try a dish other than the...
