What a delicious mango cake for Christmas Eve! Light, not too sweet, and fresh tasting. Even the kids liked it! Will be getting it again. Easy pickup at the Redwood City location.

Stopped here halfway through a planned 10k run for no more than a short coffee break. Ended up buying 4 delicious pastries to take back for my aunt and cousin who I was visiting, run abandoned and uber back! This place was very much on par with those pricey boutique bakeries back in London.

I was at the vet with my dog down the street. I asked for a recommendation for a local coffee shop. I could smell the baked goods as I opened the door. I ordered a latte and a ham and cheese croissant.
The croissant was fresh and buttery. I also liked that the latte was a little extra hot.
Personally I like my coffee hot,and if your not drinking it at the shop,it tends to get cold by the time you get home.

I must be spoiled, but the croissants just don't cut it. The chocolate croissant was covered in some sticky, sweet coating which ruined the whole experience of eating a flaky croissant. The dough itself was also too dense and simply too sweet. The plain croissant also did not impress. If you are looking for an American style croissant, this is the place for you. Authentic, more European (or actually French style) croissants can (IMHO) only be found in SF or San Mateo...

Cold coffee and slow service
Best croissants this side of the Bay? Slept on, honestly. Authentic french style bakery. Beautiful beautiful pastries and cakes. Ordered the pistachio croissant and loved it! They have vegan options, coffee and seating to enjoy a little cafe moment. Highly recommend!

Unique and very tasty artisan cakes and other pastries. A bit pricy but well worth it. It is a place you would go to for one of those special occasion, if you want to make someone's day : )

My favorite go to place for coffee, breakfast pastry and cakes for the special occasion.
I like a lot that they have a nice selection of savory pastries. Mushroom pastry was amazing!

Vegan cakes, whaaaaat?! 1,000,000 stars on behalf of the vegan community!!! Also they have a Portobello mushroom sandwich, a side of salad of fruit if you wish and fresh squeezed juices and lemonade! Delicious coffee too!
This is the quintessential neighborhood coffee stop-with homey and comfortable dining areas. The menu is more than adequate, complemented by the creative and tasty choices from their bakery. Love the lattes in those generously sized cups!

Parking is difficult but the bread tastes very good. I don't think they have their own parking lot? The price is kind of high. A plain croissant costs more than $6.20 before tax.

I can't say enough good things about Cocola Bakery! Their customer service is exceptional, and I want to give a special shoutout to Tanylle (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly!). She was at the front during my last visit and made the experience even more enjoyable. She was incredibly kind, took the time to go over their specialties, and made me feel so welcomed.
As for the pastries and coffee—delicious is an understatement. The quality is top-notch, and for those commenting on the price, let me just say: you truly get what you pay for. Everything is worth it. I even got my husband's birthday cake from here, and it was an absolute hit! Everyone raved about how amazing it tasted.
I highly recommend Cocola Bakery for anyone looking for great service and high-quality treats. It’s my go-to spot for indulgent pastries and cakes!
