Interesting coffee shop. Really like the unique decor. Friendly staff. Had an iced mocha that was very smooth and the right balance of chocolate. Will definitely be back.

This place is a real bummer, which is a shame considering the great space they occupy (and waste with a bad layout and bumbling décor). Prices are astronomical, which on one hand is what it is around here—but then the product/experience should measure up. I ordered a Caprese Panini, and double-checked to make sure it was indeed a real Caprese (mozz/tomatoes/basil), and was told yes, all those things + balsalmic. The individual on register upcharged me a service fee and then an eat-in fee, but I decided to take it on the chin hoping lunch would justify the highway robbery. It didn't. The abomination that got tossed onto my table made me regret my diplomacy: woefully plated (ever hear of a garnish?), crappy mozzarella, unripe tomatoes and (drumroll) no basil whatsoever. When I inquired about where oh where the basil could be, I was told they'd run out. Which happens—but what's *supposed* to happen when it does is that the kitchen communicates this 86 to the front so that they can inform customers before they order. And if for whatever reason they run out between orders, they should then communicate with and apologize to the customer, rather than just slapping down this flavorless garbage with zero explanation of missing essential ingredients. This place has a lot to learn.

Good spot for weekend morning coffee. Mocha is a bit watery, too much milk.

This is such a cool coffee shop to stop in at. The location great being right down town in Redwood City. Huge bonus that you can bring your dog! The staff is very sweet and very animal friendly. The service was fast. My only disappointment was that my drink seemed fairly bland/watered down and the pastry I ordered seemed a bit stale for first thing in the morning (we all have our off day). Other than that, it’s a really great spot!

My hot oats was very dry with little milk. Looks like they just microwaved it. The place is bit dirty. There's only one table at the very corner that has a charging point and the floor was super dirty. coffee is good and service is good too

Panini was not toasted, Avocado toast was horrible with thick and hard to eat bread, a customer's large dog was off leash inside the store, will not go back

Drinks are not good :( Matcha latte is very inconsistent and tastes like straight milk most days. Had one really good one my first time here and then never got a good one again. Too little matcha.

3 1/2 stars. The atmosphere is great! lot of seating. Cool art pieces on the wall. Clean and very welcoming. Came early afternoon and saw many people working on their laptops or drinking coffee with friends both inside and outside sitting area. The staff is friendly and extra bonus for being able to bring my dog. Ordered an oat milk Ube latte and unfortunately, the drink didn't meet my expectation. Couldn't taste the Ube. Felt like I was drinking purple sweetened oat milk. Also ordered a cold brew off their current specialty menu and it was lack luster. Bumped down the stars for the drinks. Otherwise a great place. Might come back and try the regular coffee.

One of the best coffee shops on the Peninsula and certainly the best in Redwood City if you are looking for high quality coffee. They do an excellent pour over with three choices of beans. There aren’t many coffee places on the peninsula that can compete on pour over (maybe just Kaizen, Verve and Zombie) but I like this place the most, they have great food options, a beautiful location and great service. I come here as regularly as I can from San Carlos. Give them some love.

Coffee, and the food is amazing, shout out to the tomato soup and grilled cheese.
But the best part is that the staff is so friendly and nice. I love coming here
