My new go to spot for pupusas in the South Bay! Comalito has delicious pupusas and yucca fries for an astonishingly affordable price - lunch for 2 at only 20 dollars. The pork pupusa was juicy, smoky, and deliciously marinaded but the real star was the garlic and cheese. The garlic flavor is so fragrant and delicious - it was irresistible with the crispy delicious cheese. The pupusas are paired with refreshing slaw and delicious and fresh salsa. The tortilla strips with beans they serve as a complimentary appetizer is also absolutely delicious!

The restaurant is very clean, with a pleasant atmosphere and music at a comfortable volume. I was surprised with a complimentary starter of fried tortillas with refried beans that tasted fresh and high quality. The coffee was served with milk in an adorable and aesthetically pleasing presentation. The pupusas were incredibly delicious, bursting with flavor. The staff's attention was excellent. I believe it’s better to have a small menu with a well-executed selection of recipes than an extensive menu typical of chain restaurants, filled with frozen ingredients and bland dishes.

If you like el Salvadorian food this place is for you. If you like South American food just stop in and enjoy. All the food is fresh and the flavors explode in your mouth. I've already been here twice and have plans to go back. Prices are extremely reasonable, especially given the quality of the food.
Two drawbacks, the hours are short, hopefully they'll be extended as the restaurant closes at 7 and they don't have a liquor license yet, coming I'm told.

A good place! I wasn't expecting an entree of fried tortilla strips accompanied with some beans and cheese. Really very good. The pupusas from 1 to 10 my grade is 8. But if I recommend it, I need to try more things on the menu so I have to come once more or several times.

Great new Salvadorean restaurant. Focused mainly on pupusas and a few sides and salvadorean drinks. We enjoyed the pupusas and Ensalada drink--everything was delicious and great. As a Salvadorean, I am picky with my pupusas - I am planning to come back to this place. As I tell my friends, pupusas are made fresh, so there is usually a bit of wait, but that is normal. The place is small and welcoming. What amazed me was the pupusa prices were very affordable compared to other places. I am looking forward to coming here regularly.
