I went shopping nearby early in the morning, and was feeling like having something to eat. I ended up going here and getting a few tacos for breakfast (yes, breakfast tacos) and they were good! If you're looking for something quick and easy, they're a great option, and they open early and close at a good time as well.

Add a new outdoor seat. It's great place for lunch, great food, and bang for your buck.

My sister and I were visiting from out of town and decided to order from this restaurant through Door Dash to our hotel. It did take quite a while for the delivery. This food doesn't hold up well for delivery orders. The tacos tasted okay and were decent portions, but the shells
were soggy. I ordered the buneulos because it sounded like a yummy treat. It was very disappointing. The tortilla was overcooked. It appeared to have minimal honey and no sweetened condensed milk. Other than the top 2 pieces, there was only the cinnamon sugar on them. I tried to call the restaurant. The phone was answered but noone talked to me. It was if they picked it up and set it down. I could hear conversations but was never responded to. After that the phone went directly to voicemail multiple times. It was very frustrating to not be able to have the business make it right. Door Dash is worthless, too. They won't back the businesses that use them, so no refunds or replacements.

This branch of El Grullense is a little more updated than the others and it is located at the Target Marshalls plaza. I liked their burrito! Cool outdoor covered seating as well. Good place to hang out if your car is getting fixed in the area.
The food is so good I eat 2 tacos in 2 minutes so I get 6 tacos I loved el grullense tacos

Tacos El Grullense – AKA “El Greasy” for the Real Ones
Known lovingly by locals and late-night taco connoisseurs as El Greasy, this Redwood City staple is more famous than Taco Bell after 10PM—and for good reason.
The carne asada and shrimp tacos are go-tos: grilled right, seasoned well, and always hit the spot. If you’re feeling adventurous, they’ve got tripe and fish, but honestly? Stick with the classics unless you’re in an experimental mood.
Must-try: the meat fries—an unapologetic pile of fries, melty cheese, saucy carne asada, and all the fixings. It’s less of a side dish and more of a lifestyle choice.
It’s fast, familiar, and always satisfying. Whether you’re sober or post-midnight snacking, El Greasy stays undefeated.
They don't even serve you well, they run away from you. I don't recommend, don't go, it's terrible.
Ordered two crana asada tacos, they where cold and the meat tasted old. Also got a super burrito asada, also cold and full of rice, very nasty. Beware sitting outside bums hanging out watching you eat.

Unfortunately not good! Had burrito and torta both were very underwhelming, even though they are supposed to come very packed with stuff they both were dry and graceless. Dont recommend this place.
