Authentic delicious peruvian food and desserts. Very laid back atmosphere, usually showing soccer games on a big screen. Prices are fair for the large portions they give you. Nice variety of desserts and a few solid options if you're vegetarian. Family has been going here for more than 20 years, the quality of food is top notch. Helado de lucuma looks like it's freshly made in house, different texture from store bought. Coffee is solid too.

an unassuming diner for authentic peruvian dishes, loved the seafood pasta the most, very different from italian ones.

We came here on a whim and it was the best food we had on our trip. I had a spicy seafood dish that really hit the spot. Really fresh seafood. The maduros were PERFECT. Service was fast and the decorations eclectic. I look forward to visiting again.

Fantastic food and service!

A few weeks ago we were driving to San Jose and decided to stop in for lunch and it was the highlight of our vacation. The owner was super friendly and very welcoming from the moment we stepped in even though we were in Colombia jerseys. She gave us a table for 5, took our order and shortly after we were eating. The food was amazing (Soup, meat, chicken, seafood, calamari, yucca, plátano maduro). I can't stress enough how good the food was. Miles better than the over priced Peruvian food in Chicago. Can't wait to go back again!

The Mixed ceviche plate was very warm. It had one mussel and one shrimp. The Picante de Camarones was not picante, the sauce was sweet and the shrimp was overcooked. Both seafood dishes had tiny bay shrimp that did not contribute to either dish.
