Lively ambience!
Overpriced, and all their food was clearly bought frozen/premade (mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, fries, etc).
They offered free fries in exchange for people writing online reviews, which likely explains why they’ve been rated so high by others.
The beer I tried was ok but the food was not good at all. Both are overpriced as well. Maybe their new Fremont location will do better.

Loved the cask poured beers and regular draft. Cajun pork sausage was very tasty.

This place is great. I’ve been coming here for years. Consistent as can be. Tandem Bike is by far one of the most balanced double IPA’s I’ve ever had.
A great location to watch Michigan football. As an official location in the Bay Area listed by the university, we see upwards of 200+ people for college football games wonderfully hosted by Freewheel Brewing. They’re guaranteed to be open for all games including our 9am pacific games. Come out and join us for any upcoming game, we’ll be at freewheel!

Please be aware…this bar is contracted to only play Michigan college games on every TV if one is going on, no matter what feeble team they might be playing (cough, Fresno State, cough). No other game will be allowed. Our party of 6 had to leave the 3 Michigan fans and find a different bar to watch our prime time college match up. Bartender was awesome to us, but was powerless against the Michigan 3 fan juggernaut!
Friendly staff, great beer. Sausages are worth every penny. The sides on the other hand are, meh. To make up for it, they have a wonderful variety of beer. All very tasty.
Lots of groups get together here and I can see why. Lots of space, lots of air, great food/beer menu.
I also got to witness a California Karen! The bartender handled it like a champ. Kept his composure, his smile and acted professionally. High five to you dude!
