What Did You Do With Customer Service? We have never experienced such a rude, disrespectful and negative customer experience as we did at a brewery…Someday the drinks will make up for the mechanical, meaningless unfortunate treatment to customers…Have you thought this over? Why are you open for business? And for whom are you open for?

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Freewheel, and I must say, it was an experience worth savoring. As a craft beer enthusiast, I was drawn in by the promise of a quality Hazy IPA, and I left with not only a contented palate but also a newfound appreciation for their culinary prowess.Let's start with the star of the show – the Hazy IPA. Freewheel has truly mastered the art of crafting a Hazy IPA that's a symphony of hops and malt. The beer poured with a beautiful, hazy golden hue and boasted a delightful aroma that hinted at the tropical and citrus notes within. Each sip was a journey through layers of flavor, from the initial burst of juicy fruits to the subtle undertones of pine. It's evident that the brewers here take pride in their craft, delivering a well-balanced and memorable brew that will keep me coming back for more. Now, let's talk about the food. The buffalo chicken sandwich was a revelation. The chicken was perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior that gave way to tender, succulent meat inside. The buffalo sauce had just the right amount of heat, providing a zesty kick without overpowering the other flavors. The sandwich was artfully assembled with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and a hint of blue cheese – a combination that elevated the dish to a gourmet level. What sets Freewheel apart is the seamless integration of their beer and food offerings. The staff was knowledgeable and eager to recommend beer pairings for the menu items. The synergy between the Hazy IPA and the buffalo chicken sandwich was particularly noteworthy – each bite complemented by a sip of the refreshing brew, creating a harmonious dining experience. The ambiance of the brewery added to the overall enjoyment. The rustic yet modern décor, combined with the hum of conversation and the occasional clink of glasses, created a convivial atmosphere that encourages patrons to linger and savor the moment. In conclusion, Freewheel is a gem for both beer aficionados and food enthusiasts. The Hazy IPA and buffalo chicken sandwich showcase the commitment to excellence that permeates every aspect of this establishment. I'll certainly be returning to explore more of their offerings and to bask in the delightful marriage of craft beer and culinary artistry. Cheers to Freewheel for a memorable experience!

The new lager Gabru is to die for. Got my money on chips/crisps as well.

Today, another fine one-&-done. We're approaching Xmas and no "Brews Willis" inspired selection like the old days of the seasonal Spruce Willis. That was a great brew.

Beer was really good, the food was meh. Service was mid, but they were friendly, as they seemed very confused about orders.

European-Style Gem!I recently had the pleasure of visiting Freewheel Brewing company and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the European charm that permeated the atmosphere. The beer selection was a delightful journey through European styles, with a wide range of options to suit every palate. Whether you're a fan of traditional ales, lagers, or something a bit more adventurous, they have you covered. Each brew was a testament to the craft and dedication of the brewers. The ambiance of the brewery was like stepping into a cozy European pub. It exuded warmth and character, with wooden furnishings, low lighting, and the hum of friendly conversations. It's a place where you can truly unwind and savor your drink. What truly sets this brewery apart, though, is the passion and friendliness of the new owners. They were not only knowledgeable about their beers but also genuinely eager to share their love for brewing. Their personal touch added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. They also organize fun activities such a trivia nights and live music from local artists. And let's not forget the food! The menu complemented the beer perfectly. The dishes were a culinary journey through Europe, with each bite harmonizing with the beer choices. I particularly enjoyed black bean burger which paired exquisitely with London calling cask ale.Freewheel definitely deserves high praise. It's a place where you can revel in outstanding beer, soak up a charming ambiance, connect with passionate owners, and delight in delicious food. I'll most certainly be a regular at this place :)

Freewheel Brewery is a true hidden gem in Redwood City, and it's a must-visit for craft beer enthusiasts. It's right by the Meta campus, just Google it! I stumbled upon this local brewery a while ago, and it has quickly become my go-to spot for exceptional microbrews and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The first thing that struck me when I walked in was the warm and inviting ambiance. With its rustic wooden decor, this place provides the ambiance I am looking for to meet up and catch up with friends after a long day at work. It is also a family friendly space for the kids to enjoy an amazing meal. If you're a foodie, they just came up with their new menu addition. The hummus burger, fish & chips sliders, and the bruschettas are to die for. Amazingly delicious. Now, let's talk about the beer – and wow, it's impressive. They have an extensive and diverse selection of craft beers, from lagers to ales to cask (now that's something you don't see everyday) and everything in between. They constantly rotate their taps, so you can expect something new and exciting each time you visit. I've never been disappointed with any of their offerings, and their knowledgeable staff is always ready to help you find the perfect brew to match your taste preferences. The friendly and passionate staff at Freewheel Brewery deserves a special mention. They're excited and proud to discuss their beer offerings and provide food recommendations. I gotta say that they create an environment where you can appreciate and learn about craft beer, whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or a newcomer to the scene.Mic drop, Freewheel Brewery is a fantastic place for both beer connoisseurs and those foodies, like me. It's a welcoming establishment that serves outstanding brews and offers a delightful experience. It's a gem you won't want to miss!

Undoubtedly, this brewery stands as the premier beer-crafting establishment in the Bay Area. Their 'Big Paws' brew elevates the beer experience, surpassing any IPA on my palate with its exceptional flavor and quality.

Amazing beer and ambiance! The Hawaiian burger, fries and chips were delicious! I'm watching U. Michigan games here for sure!

I've been to Freewheel probably over 30+ times over the years. I love beer plus you have to scour the entire Bay Area to find cask ales let alone ones that are brewed on-site. The food is good too especially the fish and chips so to me they have more than earned a five star review, it's well overdue from me actually. However, the reason I even bothered to give a review which I rarely do is I was upset with the "I'm the main character" person who having never been here before, brought in a glass of wine from a nearby business and was rightfully got castigated for it. That person should be embarrassed for their behavior and hopefully over the fullness of time, realizes their error and removes their review. Rant over.
