Superior sushi and AMAZING service. 10/10 will be going again!
Tall Japanese waitress made mistake a lot. Food was small portions price huge.
I ate a few of their sushis,, I believe the catapiler, the lion king, and the sashimi, it was all super delicious, I personally don't like sashimi that much, but even so, it was really good, the place was pretty small inside, had outside seating, I'd recommend it, it's a little pricey but it was amazing.
Outstanding foods outstanding service outstanding Japanese food in the town of Redwood city.

Best sushi on the peninsula
As a native Japanese person… some of the menu items were not authentic and need some work- the rolls especially. The quality and flavors were good though. Service was excellent and the staff are friendly and quick!

It's the real deal: modestly sized, Japanese owned and run. Acceptably priced - access to fabulous fish.
Reliably friendly and charming staff.

One older male employee wouldn’t let us add an additional chair from the next table to our table for a party of 5. He was pretty brusque and rude. Two other employees standing next to him had a look of bewilderment bc of the tone of his negative response. I believe they would’ve accommodated us sans the elder man. Maybe he was having a bad night. The place was empty inside but for one couple. I can’t recommend the food since we left n ate elsewhere where the food was awesome. Instead of a repeat of the same welcome, we’ll go back to the other Japanese restaurant where we were welcomed, accommodated and served umami oishi meals.

Requested sashimi to be cut in smaller pieces, sushi chef refused, waitress brought me a butter knife to do it myself. Taste of sushi and white wine was nothing special.
Nice little Sushi place, Friendly staff, great food and reasonable prices.
