I brought a friend down to Stanford for a procedure and we had planned to go to a different place for dinner, and discovered Seoul Kitchen by accident. I am so happy that we did as the food and service was amazing. You order your plate like how you order a poke bowl, you pick your base, then your protein, and then three sides (banchans). I ordered the toasted rice (base) which is prepared with carrot, potato, zucchini, green onion, and sesame oil (and was absolutely amazing). Then I ordered the Korean Bulgogi Beef (protein), which I received a generous amount, and it was absolutely delicious. The three banchans (sides), that I chose were kimchi, cucumbers, and seaweed salad. They were all flavorful and incredible. My friend ordered the: toasted rice (base), BBQ Chicken (protein), with carrots, potatoes, and mushrooms, and it was incredible as well. I tried their glass noodles which you can get as a base, and it was amazing as well. I wish that I had ordered a side of it. The servings were extremely generous and the lady behind the counter was extremely friendly, helpful, and efficient. The inside was clean and spacious. The parking can be tricky, but that is not the fault of the business just their location. I can't wait to take my friend back to Stanford for her next appointment, so that we can visit this place again.

We've been eating at this location for a few years now. It used to be called Hōm back in the day before it switched to Seoul Kitchen. Think of this place as a Korean Chipotle where you build your own rice bowl.I've tried the bulgogi and spicy pork and I think the spicy pork is better (although can be a little dry). The bulgogi is usually a bit drier and not that flavorful. I like the banchan selection they have here. My favorites are the potato (sliced thinly and very flavorful), kimchi, carrots, and broccoli. I always get the spicy mayo sauce on the side to pair with the food! They have a frequent buyer program which is cool.

Ordered braised beef. Portion is ok, very salty beef and extremely soggy rice. Not worth the price.

Walked in to do takeout on Friday afternoon. Was immediately greeted, and the woman at the counter was prompt and helpful as she put together my order.I got the spicy pock over toasted rice, with green bean, bean sprout, and mushroom banchans. The pork was solid if not amazing. Could have been spicier and maybe a little more flavorful, but it was good enough that I wouldn't hesitate to order again. The green bean and the bean sprouts banchan were very good. The mushrooms were more like a sauteed mushroom that I put on steak than something I was expecting from a Korean place - they were fine but not really what I was hoping for. Toasted rice made for a nice base.Serving size was pretty significant, and I thought the ratios were great. No complaints here.Overall impression is very positive. I would definitely go back and I have no qualms recommending them to others.

Very underrated Korean place to get food if you are very hungry or trying to gain weight (I'm a small dude), You get A TON of food for around $12-15. Cheap soda prices if you want it. This place offers options for your liking. Note that the entrance is a small door and is easily missed when walking by.Pro tip: mix the food around in the bowl to get maximum flavor and intake if you don't like it all separatedPersonal experience: I took a couple of my friends to try this place when we hung out downtown and they really enjoyed it even with no experience with Korean style food. They still go there often when they are around here.

Very good food, great customer service and the portions for the price are great.

This isn't a restaurant, it's a Fast Food Joint. Like McDonald's, you order marching down a line, pay, and eat at a sticky table, when you are done, they have to pri your arms off the table with a crowbar, ha.Parking: Parking meter was not working, had to walk a block to find one that was working, ugh.

Looking for some Korean food in Redwood city and stumbled across Seoul Kitchen. This place is very casual - not an up market restaurant, but this is reflected in the low prices too. There a very satisfying number of Ban chan selections with the usual proteins, and happily purple rice. The rice can be swapped out with a veggie base if you desire. All this being said, while the food is not super authentic, I was super happy with my choice (Spicy Pork) and the was unable to finish the bowl as the portion size was huge. So to sum up; quick, simple, fresh and great value. I would highly recommend this place for a quick lunch and or a simple evening meal.Parking: Parking is what it is, this is San Francisco. There are places to park and all cost money. This place is walking distance from Redwood City Caltrain station and is a good option if possible.

Another quick food place using a similar model as a burrito bar, whichnhas been thebtrend forna few years. Their base flavors were pretty good, and the sauces brought it all up a notch. Fast service, a few outdoor tables, and fairly priced. Not quite what you see on the K-dramas, but does the job.

Slow service, staff was unprofessional. Food was ok at best avoid this restaurant if you want a good dinning experience.

This review is going to be a cumulative score of my overall experience ordering through Yelp and getting it delivered.Yelp ordering was easy enough. I picked what I wanted including the option of 3 sides. I ordered the spicy pork with white rice. My 3 sides of choice were cucumber, mushroom, and seaweed salad. When I opened up my order, the portions were good. The amount of food was extremely filling. The pork had good flavor and the right amount of kick to it. The downfall was, out of the 3 sides I ordered, I only got cucumbers. I had received broccoli and something else instead of my other options. This was unfortunate, but I would have understood if I had received some sort of notice that perhaps the items I wanted were no longer available. My order was placed through Yelp via GrubHub. I was notified that my order was going to be delivered in the next 30-50 minutes. Fine, no problem. I was also notified that my meal would be left at the address for contactless delivery, but I should receive a text/call from the driver to confirm delivery. My food was delivered earlier than expected, but I was not contacted. If I hadn't stepped out when I did, who knows how long my food would have sat outside.
