This place rocked! We both got the special bento for $32 pp (+ tax/tip) and got a surprisingly delicious combination of various Japanese classics. I found everything was above the mark for expectation. The teriyaki beef was particularly impressive, as it was tender and cooked medium rare - something I've never seen before at this pricepoint or even close to it. The sushi was solid, particularly the white fish, and the tempura was also tasty. Not only was the food great, but I swear it all was served in ~5 min from ordering. I don't know how they do it, but they're on fire!

We usually order through DoorDash but now we are going back to dine-in, love the food here! The manager (person in changed maybe) took care of us! Great service!
I've been a client of them for a out 12 years and had not one bad experience within that time. My kids love the restaurant. Good food and good vibe, always clean and an efficient staff.

I had a great meal here. Cheers to their great staff! Great food, professional service, timely delivery of food to the table. The workers here are great and work so very hard. I do hope that the owner appreciates them as much as I do! I will definitely return.

We have eaten here a few times and always enjoy our experience. They don’t have the largest dining area so it can get crowded at times. The food is good and they have generous portion sizes. The prices are on the high side compared to some other similar places, so keep that in mind.Parking: There is plenty of parking at Sequoia Station
I just order some food from this company September 25 at 5:15 and I’ve been sick ever since I ate the food so please anybody out there do not order their food from there. They won’t answer my calls I’m trying to report them and I get no answer, so please stay away from this place Lil Matt fish in Redwood City Sequoia Station please stay away I’ve been so sick. I haven’t stop throwing up. I’m about to go to the hospital. I keep calling number from the place I bought the food from, but nobody answered me and when that is not professional.
Such a delicious selection of sushi, I'm pretty sure there is something for everyone, bon appetit.

This place was one of my favorites to order sushi to go. But one day I decided to eat there inside the place with my daughter. The waiter service was terrible. He took my plates of food without asking before I finished eating with food inside. And he gave me the bill to pay and I left my card for him to do. But I neglected myself with a call. I thought he charged my account.I got confused and by fact they charged me. Because he was above us moving the plates even the ones that still had unfinished food. I made the mistake of getting up from the table to leave because I continued with my call. The owner accosted me and with no manners in front of the customers around... to question If I paid the bill... I told him, well, I think that bcuz I left my card and he was supposed to take charge... And the waiter didn't tell me the food was paid in front either. I'm on a call very distracted, My point is that the waiter service there is not good and because of that the owner embarrassed me because I was focused on my call. And the waiter was doing a job out of character. Bad services to eat inside. I do not recommend it. Just to go. And as long as you don't make a mistake because of them. The owner is like poison in a small bottle. He doesn't have a nice to tell you something like that.

I forgot to take pictures. Brought my boy friend here, it was his first time. We enjoyed, loved and savored this experience together.I would recommend the pork gyoza (pot stickers) for appetizers as well as their miso soup and deluxe sashimi (raw pieces of fish sliced superbly). For their rolls I would recommend the Lion King, Bay Bridge, Cherry Blosom, and Alcatraz. I can't remember the others off the top of my head. I would definitely encourage everyone to try this place out.YUM ??????
