It was Mother’s Day and we ended up in a corner, inside some small room in the back without any windows, just a big screen TV on the side. Pretty sad. The food was overpriced. The salad I ordered should have had pears but the gave me old apples instead (brown on the sides). All in all just OK. I wouldn’t go back.

I love LV Mar. We’ve been coming here for years and the quality and food have continued to impress. Excellent food, best value on the peninsula for tacos, cocktails and a casual but elevated atmosphere. Kid friendly but nice enough for a special occasion. My favorites are the octopus and chorizo tacos, the house salad and the rice and shrimp. Awesome cocktails and a delightful atmosphere inside or outside. Excellent reliable for a night out or casual lunch. Gluten free options!

Always Incredible food and drink experiences, not to mention some incredible nightlife entertainment on Fridays & Saturdays!

This happened a while ago, but it's since become a running joke among my colleagues. We booked a private room for a group of about 12 on 9/14/22, a day when the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. We arrived to a cramped, poorly-arranged space that felt more like an afterthought than a proper dining room. To make matters worse, the lack of ventilation left the room stuffy and uncomfortable. Ironically, this indecorous room is the main photo of their Google Business Profile. That said, the food was reasonable, but nothing noteworthy. Perhaps it was an off night.

While I don't remember the exact total, the bill was roughly $900 before tip. Only after we'd finished did we learn there was a minimum spend for the private room, which was several hundred dollars more. Despite it being a slow day with plenty of empty tables, the staff insisted we hit the minimum and made no effort to meet us halfway: no offer to waive the difference, no suggested items to take home, or even a small gesture to acknowledge the situation.

Since then, we’ve been more than happy to take our business to other spots around RWC that offer a better experience and far more gracious hospitality.

mojito was meh. ahí tuna was fantastic! super fresh and delicious. empanadas were above average.

The tapas are delicious, and the atmosphere is great.

Came here for a spontaneous weekend dinner while hanging out in down Redwood City. We were seated quickly. Sitting outside on the walking only street was nice.

Unfortunately the food really under impressed. The ceviche we had was actually pretty good with fresh seafood and a good sauce, but the filet mignon dish was swimming in a gross oil, and the carne asada tacos were criminally bland. Disappointed for a resto that had so many good reviews, hopefully it was just an off day for the cooks.

The service from the manager was fantastic very welcoming, and he was super attentive

Food was tapas other than that it was good ...but environment was 10/10 dinner then everything got cleared out for an amazing night of some reggaeton

Great place, food, and ambience

I really enjoyed trying this restaurant, the service was absolutely fantastic and their menu is amazing and tasty. I will definitely come back and recommend it to my friends.

Delicious tapas dishes although a little on the expensive side. The outdoor seating was nice and we had reservations although they were taking walkins on Sunday right around lunch time. Love their free bread basket (taro, plantain, tortilla) chips with salsa. Tacos were tasty although on the smaller side. The lomo saltado (skirt steak) and grilled king salmon were both delicious.

This place was incredible. Saw an old friend and danced the night away
