What a lovely find in Redwood City! The decor is a bit basic but there is an outside dining area which looks very nice.We had the large mezze platter and chicken kebab. Very delicious. The owner/chef was very kind and helped with the selection of gluten free options.

The mezze platter was good. Wasn’t impressed by anything else. We had a reservation and yet no one was there to seat us. After waiting for 5 minutes at the door, we found someone who asked us sit at Table 19, a back corner table. Service was so poor that I had to walk back to the counter to ask for menus and water. They only provided table mats for 2 people at first and we had to ask for 2 more sets as we were a table of 4. No one came to take our order for a while and only showed up after we tried to get their attention. One of the 2 mezze platters came first and they didn’t get the bread basket for the next 5-10 minutes until we asked someone for it. The same story repeated for the next mezze platter.
Would not recommend, specially on busy weekend nights

This restaurant is the reason why I fell in love with Turkish food and is on rotation for one of my top places to go for food on weekend. It’s way better than Mazra. The mezze platter is a must get and the chicken, beef, or kefta are all cooked to perfection. The reviews are raving for a reason!

The food is outstanding!! I feel that the food is not any less delicious than Mazra. It feels even healthier. Very impressed and underrated. My only little suggestion is to change the design of the entrance and make it a bit modern and polished. People would flock to this place! It’s in a nice location. Great service. Just need a bit of exterior update can give a much better vibe. Interior was great and everything else was amazing!
Great outdoor dinning in downtown RWC! Food was amazing and quick. Portions were good and the pictures you see in the reviews were what we received. Hope you like it as much as we did.

Really nice - food is great, the service is high quality, and they have a great patio to sit and eat. Brought my mother in law, niece, and wife and we all loved it!
Awesome meal!! Just a light dinner: we split the kebabs (lamb and beef), but both were so delicious, tender, and flavorful. We were initially just going to get two orders of lamb, but the Chef/owner Hassan (a lovely & very friendly gentleman) insisted we try the beef as well, and it's a good thing we listened!! We had a nice chat with Chef Hassan as well about his cooking and his journey. Staff are very friendly and it was obvious everyone has pride for their business and food. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend Nomadic Kitchen!

Definitely one of the best Turkish restaurants I have been to in the US. Fresh and flavorful meals, yummy appetizer plates and the ayran was tasty as well. The owner was very attentive and they had generally great service. Will be back for sure!
