When it comes down to Mediterranean food, I would fall into Mazra. However, Mazra now has a worthy rival! What's unique about a smaller restaurant like Nomadic Kitchen is that you feel the place more intimated. I like how the owner/manager and server take a great care of us. When we are about to order 4 choices of mezze, the owner/manager said he will take care of the choices for us and give us samples of everything else as well. The result: the beautiful palette of colors...
Thought it would be hard to live up to the hype, but this place more than delivered. The mezze were outstanding, the pide was excellent, and the chicken kebab was fantastic. At a certain point you just run out of ways to say how good it is. Already planning my next visit.
Went for dinner on a Saturday night. It was a little busy but not over the top. The food was standard, not bad or amazing. But the service was pretty poor. The waitress that sat us never did not bring out menus or come over to take our order and ignored us when we tried to flag her down. They also forgot to bring some of our food, and never really came over to check up on us.
