Took 2 hours to get two pizzas on a random Sunday night. Horrible!!! Screaming hungry children waiting for dinner, and here I am, desperately checking the app in hopes that the food is close. Ugh!!! Never again.

I used to love eating here. But at some point recently, their Garlic Knots have had zero buttery sauce, it’s as dry as the desert. Might as well simply eat bread.I would love to change this review in the future, please PJ add more butter sauce to the garlic knots!
I went to this store to buy something for myself on memorial day, actually I'm a veteran and the pizza guy told me to wait the order outside, I felt very sad and disappointed.

Love the pizza but i hate the management.learn how to communicate by calling someone instead of talking to each other with a fake story.learn how to treat your employees right.Redwood city and san mateo papa johns.san mateo manager Stephen was very disrespectful and racist to a customer that i was standing behind instead of asking for a debit card he asked for a green card.he is not fair with some of the hispanic employees and he picks and choose who he went to delivery pizzas and give the big tips to door-dash instead of his drivers.

I love papa johns . I always have the sauce is just so good I love the wings but the service last night was CRAP. So I came for pickup right before they closed about 10 30 got a large pizza with wings and a soda for like 22$ as they have a coupon so when we got there my partner paid with 100$ bill unfortunately the cashier did not have change so he asked what I'm assuming is a delivery driver old white guy with glasses if he can help him with some change for us and the associate says "this is my 2nd time helping you with change" " why do I always have to give change" so my partner tells the cashier in spanish basically F*** him how much was it well give him the correct amount then the associate again literally screams do you want my help or not . First of all don't be talking to NOBODY like that 2nd of all your having a heart attack over some change ?? Are you serious? Food was great the cashier was great but this entitled a** white old man gives this store 1 star and makes me never want to come back to support people like him because the cashier did nothing wrong and did not deserve that either but that's not happening around me . Ima say something.

I didn't have money on my bank card the Twitter online and they wouldn't honor my discount from my online orders so I had to run to the bank put money in and order pizza last night it sucked.

Great customer service, the closing manager was very friendly and took care of our big order. I highly recommend this papa John's. I will be going to San Matteo next to try there pizza and customer service as well.Vegetarian options: They have veggie pizza ?, jalapeño poppers, and oreo bites.

Ordered online yesterday and my pizza was ready in 10 mins ! I ordered their $15 dollar two topping medium pizza that comes with a two liter. Pizza was great but the customer service was even better. Unfortunately I did not get his name but he was an older gentleman with a black shirt on yesterday night 02/04/23 working the register. Greeted me right away and had a great attitude. This was my first time trying papa johns. Will definitely be coming back.

Please do NOT buy the Blue Cheese dressings. It's a disgusting liquid mess that smells and tastes old. It's already a shame that they feel the need to charge $1.25 for any of their dressing, don't get sick from it too.Next let's talk about these peppers. I would rather they not even put this garbage in the box. Just look at the picture, I wish you could request no peppers on the side, but I guess they prefer bad presentation.

Not sure why there are bad reviews, maybe this place improved greatly. Ordered using the app and three large pizzas were done in 10 min. Picked it up and they were just as ordered. Cheap and fast just like expected. Something about the ingredients were not as good as I remembered from Papa Johns, but I can't really complain about a $10 large pizza that includes as many custom toppings that I wanted. I've never seen such a good deal post COVID. This is not gourmet pizza, but it doesn't claim to be. If I paid $27 per pizza, yeah I would be disappointed. Pro tip: use the Papa John's app for sometimes insane deals.
