Been coming here for years and have had mostly consistent service at this location. However a few times my UberEats and Philz app orders have been overlooked or incorrect. These instances have been far between but enough to warrant mention.

I've been to a many of Philz coffee shops from LA to SF and by far HANDS DOWN! CHRIS at Philz in Redwood City makes THEE BEST MOJITOS IN ALL OF CALI! If your ever in Redwood City you have to try an ICED MOJITO HAND CRAFTED BY THEE BEST BARISTA CHRIS! Mmmmmm soooo good!

There is a blonde effeminate man that has blonde hair at the register today, 7/25 at 12pm that first ignored me to finish a story with a co-worker, then took my order and very passively aggressively made me listen to the options I already knew after I told him, and when I went to pay cash he told me they are cashless. I told him that ‘messed up for the economy’, he says “ it’s been like this for three years and “that’s not my problem, there’s not I can do about it, it’s out of my control’. I asked for the manager he said there was nobody in management there. We exchanged this for two rounds then I said i can’t buy coffee and he said oh good, also feel free to not come back”. I admittedly screamed I’d come back tomorrow but let’s be real, Philz needs to fire him before o give any more more to any bratty barista from Philz ever again. Boooooo to this local coffee. Hello again Peets!!!

I went to this coffee shop and paid with my card I couldnt tip because i just couldnt at the moment but I had a bad back and had to get things done and needed a pick me up. So because i didnt tip Maya the supervisor or manager or barrista got mad and told the two stooges to make my drink bad she thought i couldnt hear her but i was afraid to confront her because they might spit in my drink and thought maybe they where just talking and when i got my drink and steped outside it was nothing but mocha and not tesora mocha and the two male stooges where very obedient with what she asked them and they where laughing thats messed up for them to do that its not ok hope karma gets her and hers stooges sometimes i cant tip everywhere I go everyone is asking for a tip I do tip but cant tip everytime!!! I dont even have a car.
