This isn’t great bbq. I’m NOT a bbq expert but I have traveled throughout the country and have frequented many of the best rated bbq restaurants - specifically in South Carolina, Kansas, Missouri, and Texas (but also Arkansas, North Carolina, and Virginia). I base my rating on these experiences. We had the brisket, burnt ends, pork ribs, mac n cheese, beans, potato salad, and corn bread. The bbq sauce I don’t think was made in house - this isn’t great. None of the before mentioned I would grade above a “C.” The service was indifferent and I would say wasn’t friendly. One thing…based on my experiences if a barbecue joint has brisket available after 3pm, it’s sort of bad sign.

OMG!! I was a little iffy walking in since the place was empty, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. The bathrooms are located outside, and while the indoor seating is small, they do have a nice outdoor seating area—I decided to sit outside!
Now, let me tell you… this is hands down the BEST BBQ I have ever had. The food literally melted in my mouth!! Every single bite had me saying, “OMG.” I kept wanting to order more just to try everything, but I had to hold back and save it for my next visit.
This spot is truly a hidden gem, and I’m so glad I found it. I’ll definitely be back soon!

I was planning on stopping at D'Adamo's European Buffet for dinner, and had the Flavor twins, CocoWow and LittleBox with me because they wanted an assortment of different meats that they typically wouldn't have in their part of Chinatown. When we drove past the Redwood City Barbeque LittleBox yelled out...We Stop! Well...I took it as a direct order, and did just that. We went in, and had some pretty Amazing food! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆

My brisket had no smoke and bbq flavors. It was like it was boiled. Service is not good and I should have bailed when I saw no patrons at the store. Major regrets. Cost is more expensive than some other nearby boutique bbq places.

My colleague recommended this spot to me since I was going to be in the area some time soon. On the day of my arrival, I could already smell the aroma from the parking entrance. It was not too busy and I began viewing their menu since it was going to be my first meal of the day. Their menu is simple, it consists of breakfast items, sandwiches, barbecue combos, sweets, drinks, etc. I went big since I was starving and got the three meat combo. Everything was prepared from scratch which is always a plus and I did not mind the wait since I am a very patient person. When my order was ready it looked better than advertised. The food from start to finish was super authentic, and down near the best barbecue I have had. They use premium meats, marination was precise and very delicious. Now with that being said this is definitely a top tier barbecue place for me in the city. I highly recommend this place for all barbecue enthusiasts, anyone looking for a laid back spot or just happen to be in the area. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

Had back surgery at kaiser redwood city on Monday 23rd. During surgery my wife picked me up a 3 meat combo plate with fries and mac and cheese. Went with burnt ends,brisket, and ribs. Absolutely phenomenal to the last bite! Can't wait to get back there!🔥🔥🔥
