This a review of the Taiwanese Eats, part of a take out only place near RWC Costco. The purple rice Fan Tuan are great and the pig’s ears are problem the best in the Bay Area the at they slice it thin and with great sauce. The bento boxes are decent, but order from here for the fan tuan and Pg’s ears! Negligible parking, you just pick up so most people just do a quick wait on the street.

The purple rice pork floss burrito was the best. I bit down and it was like a bite of Taiwan. Amazing. I got the black soy milk, I thought it was okay. But maybe cus I am used to the non Smokey soy

Honestly this place is so good but the only feasible way to order the food is online, as there isn't a brick and mortar. The storefront is shared amongst other vendors and it's located in a narrow street with mostly auto shops so it's near impossible to find parking. I'd suggest door dashing for those of you who appreciate convenience. The food is super delicious and really makes up for the con of the location. I love their braised pork rice bowl, braised pork floss roll, and also their black soybean milk. Their flavors are simple and homey and the soy milk is creamy and fresh. I often crave this food whenever I'm in Redwood City. I look forward to trying the rest of their menu when I get a chance. I'd typically dock points for location and parking but the food really makes up for it!

The parking at ghost kitchen is limited but you can park in front of 428 MacArthur Ave next door, the driveway is typically empty there.

I haven't tried their fan tuan yet but I have tried their bento a few times. Really authentic flavors as it's rare in RWC. Spicy garlic pork ears: thinly sliced with bold flavors. We order this every time.Fried chicken cutlet bento: yo, that breast cut is thicccc, probably an inch thick. Yet it's marinated probably overnight with the meat juicy and tender. Breading is unmistakably Taiwanese. Portion is huge; you can easily plan this for 2 meals. Side dishes. Can we stop for a minute and talk about side dishes? They put goji in the cabbage and the edamame bean curd with red peppers. 1) color, 2) nutrition, 3) more work/cost - you just don't see restaurants do this anymore. Bravo Taiwanese Eats! Your food fills our stomachs and warms our hearts!
