Vivian was racist and just awful. I can't believe bigotry is allowed in this establishment but I guess it's irrelevant since they keep hiring individuals like this.

I have felt that the service at RWC has been poor for many years, but today I hit my limit of tolerable. I don't know why the meat department doesn't use numbers to determine who is next. Two customers were helped before me even though I arrived before them & waited for the customer before me to finish. I even moved up to the glass & stood exactly where my items were located. This place is so time consuming just trying to find help or get around unattended workers' carts. And the link to make a comment to corporate isn't complete. It should be as follow:wholefoodsmarket.com/cus…And they assume that they provide good service:Please call our Customer Care team at 1-844-WFM-TALK , and we'll happily share your feedback with the appropriate leadership so that team member (or team members) can get the kudos they deserve. After searching on the website, it seems that Whole Foods is very inefficient. While I am on my tangent, this place is the worst if you are short. So many times items are on the top shelf & nobody is around to help. I grew up in TX & even went to college in Austin. I think I will stick to shopping WF only when I visit TX.

Two stars are for the only good employees thereThis is no longer a nice shopping experience. Everybody is walking around appearing angry that they have to be at work or the so called managers are slacking off on their cell phones. There is no diversified teams at Whole foods. The food and salad bar cost more but taste worst. Pizza guys are always cranky and defensive. Be prepared for different items to emerge from the package, box or container that you brought. Don't waste your time in this hellhole, visit the San Mateo, Palo Alto, Ingleside and Emeryville (regional office). Actually anywhere but here.

I'm so disappointed and so done with this whole foods location! I have been shopping here for over 10 years and the last couple of years everything has gotten worse, I guess ever since Amazon took over. Not only are the lines ridiculously long, which I at first I contributed to lack of staff due to Covid. Now it's not just the lines that are ridiculous, but the shelves are repeatedly empty. The other day I went to the meat counter and there was no ground beef and the butcher (who was rude btw) told me the grinder was broken, so I was like OK I'll get some chicken. Well, the whole chicken counter had about three packages left. I asked an Employee what is going on?! His answer was. " oh my boss forgot to place the order for chicken" I mean, really?! Whole Foods used to be the only store I shopped at, and now it's become my very occasional store to shop. Step it up Bezos!!

Store rating: Fine, decent, large Whole Foods on El Camino Real. Parking a little odd as it forces you to turn on Jefferson St, no entrance or exit from El Camino Itself. Lighting is very bright and selection seems normal although I have only been here few times. Customer Service: Poor! Two incidents in one short shopping trip last night. First , I was trying to locate where the store had the fresh prepared deli meals, like the ones in the fridge to pick up and microwave at home. One young man said they don't think they have them at all, and went back to stocking, the other one led me around to the freezer meals. I described again what I need and then he seemed a little irritated by me saying "Guess he was right, we dont have that" and shrugged and said "have a good night"Guess what, after couple mins of aisle walking I found them myself. Second incident, I don't often shop at Whole Foods so I am not that familiar with scanning my Amazon Prime Code at the register. I asked the cashier (middle aged short lady with gray hair) where can I scan my code? She seemed instantly annoyed and said "How about the yellow lettering right in front of you that says "SCAN HERE? Try that." . That made me feel even more flustered because I felt embarrased, and I still couldnt find it. Seeing that I was still searching she said "Its the only thing around you that says in big yellow letters SCAN HERE" without taking any step to point or guide me. At that point I felt so embarrased I said nevermind to scanning at all. Whats going on with the employees at this location???

This review is for the Seafood Counter specifically - totally my favorite seafood source in the area - Marcos is my go-to guy and always hand-selects the best oysters and makes great recommendations. I think he may have been promoted to manager recently so I think the whole team should be in sync with his excellent vibe as well. Highly recommend.Other stuff - parking is easy, great location and they also take amazon returns

Line management for the main registers sucks. You will spend more time waiting in line at this store to check out than you will actually shopping for items. They seem to only open 2 check stands at the peak of customer foot traffic. They will have 10+ people waiting in lines that snake back through the cosmetics department and refuse to open additional check stands. Yet the customer service desk will have 4 people standing around talking and looking at each other. I was in line for 25 minutes the other night to buy 4 items and a case of Lagunitas. Something needs to change here or I need to be smarter and buy items elsewhere to save the hassle and headache.

Whole Foods still sucks 7 registers only 3 open. Never an express lane. A lot likeTSA. Management sucks. Still blaming closed registers on Covid

Inside of the store is not very organized and clean. Cashier wasn't very pleasant either. I don't think I will go back there again.

Prices are a little high, but selection is good. Not too long of a wait. Great thing about Whole Foods is that they take Amazon returns. You do pay a little more, but you know the food has been vetted for quality. Hot food is excellent for a quick bite- again a little more on the expensive side, but excellent quality for a grocery store.

1 star for the rude guy in the seafood dept, 5 stars for the woman who helped me at the customer service desk.On Saturday afternoon 1/7 we stopped at Whole Foods to pick up 18 oysters, 9 moondancer and 9 wellfleet. Go home (it's pouring rain) open the oyster packages and there are only 7 Wellfleet oysters even though package says 9. Since it's POURING RAIN I decided to just deal with it the next morning.Around 9-9:30 Sunday morning I take the wellfleet wrapper (that says 9 oysters) to the seafood counter and encounter a bearded guy who apparently had a stick up his b*tt. Explained what happened and the conversation went like:Me: Hi, we came in yesterday and bought 9 wellfleet oysters (showing him the wrapper) but only received 7Stick up b*tt guy: If you bought them yesterday, you should have come back yesterday.Me: (stunned he thinks I should have come back yesterday in POURING RAIN to fix mistake they made. Apparently he sees the look on my face and before I have a chance to say something I might regret he follows up with):Stick up b*tt guy: Did you bring the other 7 oysters with you?Me: (WTAF? As I'm about to ask to see the manager, he again must see I'm fairly unhappy so he says):Stick up b*tt guy: I can't help you, you can go talk to someone at the customer service desk.So I do. And I want to emphasize that this guy was rude the entire time. The woman at the customer service desk could not have been nicer and more understanding. Took care of the issue and left feeling positive about Whole Foods, but still PO'd at stick up b*tt guy

One of the worst Whole Foods on the peninsula. Doesn't even come close to Cupertino or Sunnyvale as an example. Constantly out of stock on core staples. Fresh squeezed OJ machine is constantly claimed as being broken going on 6+ months now. Juice and coffee bar seems to be closed for more than 50% of the store's normal operating hours

This place is getting dangerous...when I was shopping last week, heard a lady with two kids screaming behind me for help. I looked back and saw an adult male running away from her with her purse. Few employees were chasing the bad guy through the aisle so I ran to the front of the store to cut him off. Luckily, he ran right into my path and I "accidentally" plowed him into the cash register. While he was disoriented, I was able to snatch the purse back from him and give it back to the lady. The bad guy just leaves the store. A few days after, my wife wanted to shop here but after I told her about the purse snatch, she did not want to shop alone. Glad she waited for me because we saw multiple shop lifters and even when we notified a store employee, she informed us that it happens all the time and they don't do anything about it. If Whole Foods don't care about having their inventory stolen, it's their choice, but it creates a dangerous consequence. It invites people who are willing to take advantage of the situation and rob innocent shoppers who are easy target of opportunity, like the mother with two kids who had her purse snatched. Please hire security officers to restore a sense of safety at the store. Until then, we will not be returning to the store.

This store used to be my go-to for meats, deli, and fish. Someone is clearly cutting corners because the last handful of times I got the fish it wasn't fresh. One time we got mildly ill and another I just opened the wrapper, inhaled, and tossed the whole lot into the trash. To be clear, I ALWAYS eat fish I buy the same day for freshness. In contrast, at Cook's in Menlo Park I heard a counter man tell a customer that he wasn't going to sell him something fro the case because he didn't feel it was fresh enough. That got my business. Maybe this is the Amazon effect?

Please label your delivery case if you do not want customers to self serve. I usually patronize the San Mateo Whole Foods. The case here with already weighed and packaged deli meats has a door that can open. Naturally I opened it to get a pack of ham.I was promptly chewed out by an employee for 5 minutes in front of the public. As a middle-aged woman this was embarrassing and uncalled for. She could have merely reminded me that this case was not supposed to be open. I just spent $200+ at your store and I get treated this way. I'm never coming back.
