Ordered today and dish is pretty simple but cooked just right. Wish the sauce was a bit more for the portion and $2 for extra sauce is a bit much as my Original plate is already $15. I love that you get extra sides. Will order again!

It's not good. Had this many times from other branches, and this one is the worst. The chicken was dry af for both white and dark meat. The rice was mixed between mushy, undercooked (hard), and okay. At least the sauce and soup were good, or I'd rate this 1 star.

Ordered via door dash. The original chicken was so dry that it was inedible. The cutlet was so oily and breading so thick that it was really tough to eat. On top of that, we asked for no cilantro and the soup was laden with cilantro and there was hints cilantro in the chicken dish. The vegetables were dry and flavorless.The only thing that was good was the rice.

I ordered from this restaurant on DoorDash, and the first time was amazing. I had ordered the Original. The chicken was tender and of good quality, the chicken jasmine rice were flavorful and soft, the broth tasted well seasoned but not overly so. And they stapled a doordash kitchen discount to my order. However, the second time was rather disappointing. The chicken tasted rather dry, the rice was not as flavorful, the broth was very salty and they didn't add much of the extra skin at all, in fact it was 1/2 of the portion they gave me the first time. I'm unsure if that is how they treat their returning customers or it's a matter of employees being different on different days that lead to the quality disparity, but I'm not sure if it's worth it to pay $20+ (after doordash fees, before tips) to order from here if the quality isn't going to be there.

Tried calling the number listed on yelp and someone picked up just to hang up on me after saying hello. I tried calling back a few times and they just diverted my calls to voicemail. Rude af. And if the number listed on yelp isn't the business number then maybe don't even list it. I tried placing an order on door dash but it said they were closed even though yelp says they close at 9:30. Can't order ahead at all from this location.
Ordered through DoorDash. No sauce was given. This happened twice. You can eat this food plain!

There are a lot of Rooster & Rice chains around and they're always a great place to order a quick bite. This location is a little different because it's mostly a to-go place. The food still tastes just as good as the other locations though. I really like their habanero sauce. And the rice has a nice chicken flavor so it's not bland. The Original is probably my go-to. It tastes healthy and fills me up. I wish they gave more vegetables with it though, but you have to add that on. The Khao Tom soup (I think is what it's called) was a little too sour for my tastes, so I'll stick with the regular side chicken broth soup it comes with.

My first time trying Rooster and Rice and it was delicious!! Flavorful, soft rice. I can probably eat a bowl on its own. I ordered The Original. The chicken breast was a bit dry and as expected for breast meat. But that's why the sauce on the side is so important! I wanted the original KMG sauce, but got the habanero instead, which was a nice spicy surprise. It was a pretty large portion. Overall, would recommend.
