Cashier Sarah is so unprofessional. Definitely going to another Starbucks from now on
the new kind of Starbucks: better coffee in a pleasant space. service was friendly. lots of seating. Great chairs. easy location.
I recently visited a Starbucks that was not particularly busy, yet I still felt unwelcome. The atmosphere was noticeably lacking in warmth, and the staff seemed indifferent rather than inviting.
There was little effort to engage with customers or create a friendly experience. While I don’t expect over-the-top enthusiasm, a simple smile or a more welcoming tone would have made a difference. Instead, the interaction felt cold and transactional, which was disappointing—especially in a place known for its customer experience.
I visit Starbucks not just for the coffee but also for the inviting environment, and this location fell short. I hope the staff receives some encouragement to be more attentive and empathetic, as those small gestures truly matter.
Lovely bunch of folks who are immediate at implementing the new Starbucks changes with bathroom code additions and unwelcomeness to non-customers.
I've come here prior to the changes whenever I'm in the Redwood City area and enjoyed the space previously. They have a rather large open area and plenty of outlets.
I came here most recently to avoid the rain for a bit and was quickly reminded to purchase something in order to use the space, which only had a small handful of people around. I understand they are only adhering to the new rules, but being singled out and confronted in that manner pushed away any thoughts of buying a drink there afterward.
Terrible to street people.

This place is dirty, tables are sticky, and the counters need a thorough cleaning. Just plain carelessness.

The barista at this location needs to listen to its customers. I got my orders and one of my coffees didn't have the coffee sleeve. The other two didn't have the label. How do I know which is my order? I think his name was chava.

When you ask for a cup for here, but get a cup to go. And then they want to burn the cup just so that they can correct a mistake.
Baristas at this Starbucks location. Need to listen up a little bit better.
