Great place and atmosphere. The food is a notch better than fast food, not like you would expect from a restaurant.
Everything we had was great: Shrimp Po' Boy, Mac 'n Cheese, Deviled Eggs, Quesadilla! All of it was so yummy!
This place is great to come and watch the game and they have great selection on beer and the thing that I like about them is that they carry local beers and it also tells you where is from if you want to venture out and find it. The food is great I usually get the tacos. I started out with getting the chicken tacos until I found my taco which were pork and they are so great that I go back for them. And if you are a fan like me for tacos I would recommend going on taco Tuesday has they have great deal on them. This other time I went there late and was going to get a drink and maybe some tacos to go with it, and the bartender had informed me that they had closed the kitchen and were not serving food I had told him that I manly came for the food so the bartender goes to the chief to see what he can do. And comes back to let me know that they can make a chicken quesadilla for me. That was the first time I had that and I have to say it was great with beer. And I really appreciate that even after they closed the kitchen they were able to make me something so that I was happy. I really appreciated that the bartender went out of his way to make sure that I got food. They have great service always happy people there.
Good burger and fries, cold beer, friendly service. Good local neighborhood hangout.
I tried this place out for the first time because of a promotion the restaurant was having to celebrate their 8th year in business. The restaurant was wide open, but the maitre d' I was seated at a table that hadn't been cleaned. The waitress was good and cleaned it up when I asked. I had a burger w/fries, a side salad, and a beer. The salad was good, but the fries were mealy and clumped together, and the burger came on a bun that wasn't toasted and was probably straight out of a plastic bag. I had to flag down the server (not the waitress) to get some ketchup. Overall, this was a pretty weak meal and experience, and I won't be back.
Four of us had lunch here today. My wife had a Ceasar salad with salmon and reports it was excellent. Two of our friends have the fish tacos and said they were good. I ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich and it was mediocre. The portion was very very small. And at nearly $18 I expected something much more substantial. This was lunch time and the music inside the restaurant was very loud. We asked the waitress if she would please turn down the music and she probably asked someone to do so but they did not. This is not a Saturday night club scene, it's a place where folks just want to come in have a quiet lunch and talk and a little background music's okay but this was over the top. The service from our server was very good. She was very patient came back numerous times to see if she could do anything for us. We will try this place again but I would definitely stay away from that Philly cheese steak if you're hungry.
See the photos of ribs? Well, that's not what you get. They "improved" the ribs by boiling them instead of a grilled, dark/rich brown color, you get a grayish brown and wait staff that insist that boiled ribs are somehow better. It was disgusting
I was disappointed. Got the apple and chicken salad. My apple was brown and tasted old. There's just no need for that. Husband got a burger. He said his was okay. We won't be coming back.
I stopped by because of their good reviews. Let me tell you I was not disappointed. From their barebottle IPA TIMES 2, to the fries which are extremely good, the the black Peppercorn Burger which was amazing. This place is saved for when I travel back to Cali.
At The Grill House parking is easy, restaurant is large, lots of TV's all around, lots of kids running around. We got a few good suggestions from one of the waiters. She suggested the Jalapeno Popper Burger, which was so great. It came with a ton of fries. A very large portion of food, but it was really good. My friend got the Southwest Chicken Salad & it was also very good. The bar has a large selection of draft beers. The bar was very crowded & noisy. There are lots of tables at this restaurant, so I wouldn't worry about not getting seated. The night we went, it was crowded, but seating was not an issue. We had a good time and will be back.
Delicious food. Fantastic service. My partner has a beef allergy and they baked the Mahi to keep it off the grill. Amazing. Thank you.
Chicken wings are absolutely fantastic, grilled and delicious, I can't figure out how they do it! The burgers are good as well as the service, all good and consistent! Place is a must try!
Love the food. Not a single item I have tried that I didn't like. My fave is the Apple Chicken salad.
This was one of our favorite places to go to when we lived in redwood shores! Great staff, customer service, and delicious food!
Business lunch indoors. Both of us had the grilled chicken salad w apples, walnuts and (feta?) cheese. Competently executed. Can't ppine on any of their hot entrees though. Attentive and discreet service. Quiet inside on a weekday - I guess we're not over COVID - with no masks.
