The Wild Rover is an Irish bar and restaurant offering up-levelled Irish fare in a cosy, beautiful atmosphere that feels like a city pub. It has a ton of indoor and outdoor seating. The owner is super friendly, lovely, personable, and passionate about the restaurant.
The food is delicious, super tasty, and not greasy. Menu highlights include an amazing burger with fries, a delicious lunch of spicy Asian salad with perfectly cooked salmon, and exceptional Irish pub dishes like Reuben stuffed potato skins, buffalo wings, a delicious chicken sandwich, and a fish fry featuring lightly battered cod. The fish cake, made with salmon, cod, and potato, is a particular favorite. Portions are generous. They also now offer soft serve ice cream.
Drinks are fantastic, with a great selection of beer and wine, some cocktails, and what is called the best pint of Guinness in the US. The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing with drinks, playing cards, or watching sports like Irish rugby and Liverpool football. It is a very enjoyable dining experience and a comfort to find an authentic local watering hole.
