I was running a few minutes late for outdoor lunch on Saturday. My friend who is fair-skinned wanted to switch to a table with slightly more shade. They were very accommodating. Our lunch lasted over 2 hours. We were not rushed. I am grateful this level of service is still possible in the Bay Area. My friend had a dog as well, and they provided water for the dog. Awesome food and staff. We had a couple of items from their seasonal specials. The short ribs and browned butter honeycomb gelato was so delicious. We ordered 3 pizzas, sausage and honey, Margherita and cheese with turkey salami. All were so delicious. We also ordered the Mexican bread pudding and vanilla bean gelato. We left content and had left overs for the next day. Would definitely recommend and will be going back
Took my husband here for his birthday celebration and he really enjoyed the entire meal - including the small plates (mushroom toast and beets salad!!), delicious pizza and thoughtful complementary dessert that happened to be his favorite ice cream! He has a high standard for pizzas (he's a new yorker and also likes to make his own pizzas) and he gave Vesta a rave review!
