Loved the food
The personnel were super friendly
The food was ready fast
The space is super beautiful and nice
We got chicken Tikka masala with rice and garlic naan
It was super delicious the portions aren't that big
The naan is fresh and hot very soft
We also got the burger with masala fries
It was good but similar to regular fries
We also got the mango yogurt drink which was super tasty
All the food is halal and not very spicy
The portions aren't that big though.
Gosh this place is overrated, food expensive, atmosphere noisy and unwelcoming and talking about food, the worst ever..wont recommend.. it was really bad experience
ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT
We stopped by this restaurant for dinner on a Saturday evening, and it was buzzing with energy. One of us had been a regular at their Palo Alto location and couldn’t stop raving about it—and now I understand why. The ambiance was lively, with vibrant wall art adding to the character of the space. The place was packed, which is always a good sign.
You place your order at the counter—there’s usually a line—and then your food is brought to your table. The menu features a wide range of Indo-Pak dishes, with both thali and à la carte options. We started with a warm cup of tea and then each of us ordered a different thali. Thalis typically include yellow rice, salad, a vegetable or dal, and your choice of a main entree.
I opted for the shami kebab thali, as did one of my friends, while the other chose saag paneer with naan instead of rice. The portions were generous—definitely more than I could finish. The salad was fresh and refreshing, and instead of dal, we received a basic but tasty aloo sabzi.
The shami kebabs came as three house-made patties made of minced meat and lentils. They were flavorful with a bit of spice, though not the best I’ve had—still enjoyable. What stood out was how the food managed to be filling and flavorful without being overly greasy or heavy, breaking the stereotype often associated with Indian food.
All in all, it’s a solid spot worth checking out if you’re in the area. Fresh, customizable, and satisfying—definitely recommended.
Zareen’s serves the best Pakistani food in the US, authentically and consistently. We live on the East Coast, and my husband had been craving this meal for months. We ordered Beef Nihari, Gola Kabab, Beef Chapli, Chicken Charga, Chicken Tikka Masala, Fried Fish, Naan, Sheermaal, Mango Lassi, Classic Lassi, and Chai. Everything was 10/10. Great ambiance, delicious food, and perfect service. On our way out, we met the restaurant’s namesake, Zareen! Beautiful and gracious, she clearly puts heart and hard work into her business, alongside her son. We hope they prosper in California for many years to come iA

This place is amazing! The food was fantastic, reminding me of authentic desi food!! It took them a little bit to bring our naan, but at the end even though it was super busy. One of the guys came apologizing for the delay and also brought us 5 masala chai and lassi on house, If I wasn’t visiting San Francisco, I would 100% come back!

Best Pakistani restaurant ever. We have been there 3 times in 3 days and we are here for two more days. We normally try different cuisines but can’t leave Bay Area without trying everything Zareen has on the menu
