Really good pupusas here. The cabbage that comes with it is also really solid. Tables Loki could use a wipe down but otherwise good spot.
Cipote breakfast was not as good as expected it had a weird flavor i couldn't finish it.
Super generous portions for a decent price. I'm a fan of the pupusas and the tamales, though the empanada (which was a plantain stuffed with custard?) was very sweet and a bit too decadent for me. I really liked the huge portion of pickled vegetables as a side dish too! The lady at the register was also very welcoming and helpful.
Over priced, for the lack of service
My first experience eating food from El Salvador was excellent. I ordered Sopa de Gallina India, pupusas (spinach and mushrooms), and plantanos fritos, and everything was delicious. Will definitely return. I can't add photos because everything was eaten.

Everything is fine but the reggaeton music at full volume is exasperating, the atmosphere is very heavy with that loud music

Call 7 times to order. They don't respond. ???? Bad phone service?
I've only had their pupusas, which are amazing. Packed full of flavor, impecapable timing on the grill, generous portion of curtido. No frills, just this amazing food.
The place is clean, people are friendly, and there's always a table or two dining there at any given time, which goes to show their popularity. Pricing is good for this quality.
Overall I do recommend this place. Nothing fancy but still a nice small treat.
Vegetarian options: Pupusas with cheese and loroco or Zucchini are available.

Restaurantji Recommends
I don't recommend it at all. I bought a fried fish and I was really disappointed since the fish only had salt near the head and its only taste was earthy or something like that, and the worst thing was that it had 8 garlic cloves inside, how horrible.
This restaurant has been in service for several years and I haven't visited them for many years. I went on 5/24/24 and my experience was terrible with the food. I ordered an order of pacayas. The dish is served with rice, beans, salad and two pacayas. That couldn't be done. Eating is salty as if I had asked for salt instead of pacayas. I told the person in charge of serving the orders and his response was yes and that's why he didn't like them. I also ordered two milk empanadas and the bananas they were made with were not Ripe enough to use them in empanadas, they were not even shaped like empanadas, rather they were shaped like cylinders and the milk was more like a piece of soft hard cheese. Definitely did not come back. I do not recommend it. They are only going to waste their money very badly. meal.
Parking: There are other neighboring businesses including a laundromat, it is very difficult to find parking, people who go to wash take longer than a person takes to eat, very difficult to park as well.

Nephew's review: it's a favorite I've been there often with my dad. A few menu favorites cheese pupusas, the plantains, and wouldn't be a meal with out the tamales.

Do you want a HOT and tasty bean&cheese pupusa? This is your spot. Too hot to handle, the perfect size, and perfectly cooked beans make this my favorite pupuseria in the area.I tried the bean&cheese, a bean, cheese, and carne asada, and the marañon juice ?
