for $20 the portion is generous and it tastes good. one of the better kabob stops. other places i been to dont season it and here they do. other places try to gentrify the dish and here they dont. just authentic kabab dish. owner was doing everything by himself impressed that an older gentleman is running this operation by himself, he was quiet and friendly. The spot was cozy & authentic to the culture of iran. if authenticity of the food is important to you this is the spot for you.

absolutely a GREAT kabab spot. truly a hidden gem.

authentic flavors, i got the number 13 with added the yogurt, it is extra but it IS good. the food IS made FRESH on the grill!

the portions are generous! i couldn't finish the whole plate. a usual kabab platter goes for $15-25 depending on the place, in this case the price matches the quality & quantity of the amount of food you are getting.

the yogurt is shareable for two people or one if you are greedy like that! the inside i love the vibes, very homey hole in the wall vibes, cozy.

they are open everyday 10am-8pm which is a plus! would come here again the owner/chef is very chill, & relaxed type of man. please be patient since he is the only one doing everything.

It was honestly one of the best experiences we’ve had. We got married just a day before coming here from a trip, so we were tried and starving.
It was our first time visiting, and the food was incredible—but even better than the food was the owner. He made us feel like we weren’t in a restaurant at all, but in a family member’s home. So warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. This place is definitely becoming our weekly spot. Even if we have to drive 26 miles, it’s absolutely worth it just to see him and enjoy the amazing food and beautiful restaurant. Thanks for being an amazing business owner.

This place is truly a Mediterranean gem! If you’re looking for authentic flavors, look no further. I stopped by for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by both the affordability and the freshness of the food—everything tasted high-quality and delicious. The atmosphere is just as wonderful, with authentic decor that really adds to the experience. I’d recommend giving this spot a try!

Very disappointing experience. The restaurant owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. The food was burnt, as clearly shown in the picture. When I called to complain, instead of apologizing or helping, he spoke very rudely and talked nonsense. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. I will not be ordering from here again and do not recommend this place.

House of Kebab is truly one of the gems of Los Angeles when it comes to authentic Persian food. The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and the comforting aroma of real, home-style cooking.

One of the highlights for me is their dizi. It’s not easy to find a place that makes dizi the traditional way, but House of Kebab does it perfectly. The broth is rich and hearty, the meat is tender, and the mashed mixture with fresh bread tastes exactly like something from back home. It’s the kind of dish that warms your soul.

The staff are always polite, friendly, and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Whether you’re craving kebab, dizi, or a classic Persian comfort meal, House of Kebab is absolutely worth the visit.

I had 1. beryan & 1. Abgoosht &2 teas. That’s all & I ended up paying $150 including $15 tip ( it was him doing everything EVERYTHING) Don’t ask me why I paid the BUSINESS OWNER TIPS ,but I did. the food and service with that quality Is NOT worth anywhere near that much!!! I like mehdi but this was the last time im going there! so be careful peeps ,it’s expensive for what you’re getting.

The quality of the kebab and meat is TERRIBLE.

The koobideh tastes like anything but koobideh and hard to chew.

One side is burnt while the other side is not cooked well.
