just left my local El Pollo Loco, and this was honestly the first time I left feeling super happy with the entire experience. While we were in the drive-thru, their card machine wasn’t working, so we had to come inside to complete the order. Even with that inconvenience, everything went smoothly.
The restaurant was clean, fairly quiet, and not crowded at all. They had already taken our order in the drive-thru, so we were able to come inside, pay, and our food was ready pretty quickly. We ordered a family meal and spent about $50. Everything was correct, hot, and we were on our way home in no time.
The young gentleman who helped us was extremely polite and had great customer service. That alone made a big difference in the experience.

01/01/26 i went just now around 9:30pm so manager you can verify my sale around that time for $13. & Some chane, I ordered a chicken tortilla soup & 2 tacos, there is no chicken in this soup so you guys charged me $6 for a cup of broth, did you employee just skim to top of pot or was there none left, I should get a refund bc i did not get what i paid for?

Food is actually really good but it's been A CONSTANT THING that I have gone through the drive thru to get lunch and the drinks have tasted HORRIBLE. They need to check that drinks machine PLEASE.

Dont expect sauce for your DRY HASH. No one will even ask if you have your whole order, got your drink cup, or want sauce. Good luck
