I recommend all the food because everything is very delicious, and also good and friendly service, I have been visiting this beautiful restaurant for 10 years, and the coffee is also very good, and the Salvadoran breakfast is my favorite but I recommend that you try everything because I assure you that you will want to return soon, because Café Deli el Rancho for me is the best in the area ?

My family and I prefer this restaurant, the food is very delicious, it is worth the wait and especially on busy days and times, we prefer to order by phone before arriving and they always serve us hot food. I also recommend the drinks, they are delicious.

Came here on a Sunday at 2:30pm, while my kids and I craved pupusas. I walked in with high expectations from prior reviews. Upon walking in the cashier was busy handling food delivery service orders...no big deal. I asked her if we sat ourselves and then they would take our order she said yes. We started looking for a place to sit so they could take our order.. then an older lady asked us to order at register...again...no big deal. As I started ordering the lady started mentioning that the platter that they have advertised are not correct. The platter "Tipico El Rancho" is advertised with rice, she said "no, no lleva arroz, pero si dice, pero no" ok fine. Ordered 4 pupusas, 2 bean & cheese and 2 cheese...again, menu states pupusas are 3.75 and the upgraded are carne asada and pollo..an extra .75...again, no big deal. I was charged 4.50 for a cheese pupusa! I asked the lady and she said I wouldn't be able to find a cheese pupusa for 3.75....it was literally advertised as so on their menu!Ok, we ordered the food and waited for a table to be cleaned up, asked one worker...waited 10 minutes asked another worker..finally we're able to sit down. When the food came they only brought the Plato tipico and 2 cheese pupusas then proceeded to bring 1 bean and cheese one 10 minutes later...another 15 minutes passed and my daughter had to go ask for the 2nd bean and cheese pupusa.False advertising, slow service and bland food.Unfortunately, we came here on a whim because our favorite spot (Pupuseria y Creperia El Mesón) is closed on Sundays. If you're in the area Monday through Saturday I hands down would recommend the latter pupuseria.

No cheese in the mixed pupusas and I asked what it was In them to make sure what I was getting. Good thing is that I had string cheese at home so I had to add it myself. Not fair because I paid for mixed pupusas with cheese at least that's what I was told it was In them ?

As Mexican American who had visited El Salvador in the past, those dishes remind me of my vacation in Suchitoto, El Salvador. The breakfast ones are a must-have for those who never visited El Salvador or had Salvadoran breakfast. Definitely coming back again!

Delicious always excellent quality of food, super friendly and although many times I only order pupusas to take away today we had breakfast inside the restaurant and everything was super good I hope they don't change that they don't sell and that they continue selling all that delicacy of food they have. MY CHILDREN'S FAVORITE REBUELTA PUPUSAS ?Thank you.

For transparency, I did not try the food. It smelled and looked great. It was super busy on a Friday evening at 6 p.m. There was only one waitress there and she kept putting oranges in their juicer. I can not remember what she was doing the entire time. I know she did not answer any phone calls because it was ringing the whole time and something else kept giving notifications. She looked like she did not want to be there. In the nearly 40 minutes I was there, the waitress took one order. I only saw food come out to one table and the pupusas were pretty big. I saw a few groups of people sitting at tables with completely empty tables, no water, napkins, utensils... this must be a self-serve to-go food spot. You get to pick up your food from the counter and they do not use numbers to identify orders. There were people there longer than I was and they did not receive any food or acknowledgment a single time before I left. That is why I assume the food is good because they looked miserable and still kept waiting. I noticed that three mobile orders were picked up during my time there and I think that is the best way to eat there: call ahead and order on the phone because they take forever to make the food. You have to park in the back alley where they have limited parking. One day, I will call, place a phone order, and pick it up in a couple of hours so I can finally try their food. If you HATE hospitality, attentiveness, prompt, and amicable service then come here because you will not find that here. Just avoid the place and call ahead, that seems to be the best way to get food. They should have more than one person handling the mobile orders and all the tables. It would suck if she also has to clean them.

The chicharron in the pupusas tasted burned. The pupusa was bland and needed salt. Mainly the chicharron is the reason for the low rating. It was almost sour from how bitter/burned it

My go-to for pupusas. The staff are friendly and they have fast and consistent service. The pupusas, curtido, and salsa I had (been there numerous times in the last few months) have always been delicious and flavorful. The pupusas have a good amount of filling as well!

My wife and I have been searching for this place for weeks after being brought here one time. We came by for dinner and were surprised to find it empty, seeing as how good the food was! We ordered the tipico el rancho plate (they have loroco too, but it's not on the menu) and pan con pollo - both were excellent. My wife doesn't normally enjoy pupusas revueltas, but she liked these! Definitely coming back for more.
