We took a chance because we didn't want to drive too far. It was okay, not very clean, food was okay. I've had better Mexican food, or maybe I didn't order the best thing on the menu, I ordered chicken enchiladas. It was served sloppy on the plate covered with lettuce on top with double rice.. The menu has false pictures than what is currently being served. I forgot to take pictures, sorry.
First and last time. Got the el pastor burrito the rice taste a couple of days old and the pastor taste about a week old. Definitely not fresh, and it's over priced. I can't even take another bite, every single piece of meat is dry and has this odd texture. So irritating!
I ordered the Platillo de Carne Asada. The carne asada was tough like a rubber sole, it was dry and tasted poorly, I could only eat part of it. Although I ordered it at 2:53 PM (on receipt), I was denied the drink that comes with the Platillo. I was told they cannot give you the drink after 3:00 PM (!). I am very disappointed with the food and the lack of courtesy and professionalism of this restaurant. Grade F.
I had a terrible experience for price gouging. I ordered 2 wet burritos priced at $11.99 (picture of burrito and price is on the menu) but when the bill arrived, they charged $5 extra per burrito because they made the burrito wet. So it was really $17 per burrito plus tax. $38 dollars for 2 burritos and 1 soda. This makes no sense. I'd love for this restaurant to explain why they charge an extra fee.
Got food for my very picky elder mom and myself. 2 fish tacos and a caldo de camarón. My mom love the fish tacos and the caldo was delicious.
I’ll be back soon
Smaller than usual Mariscos Restaurant, but food was delicious. Big portions and prices were very reasonable.

I love my Mexican authentic food, being Mexican I have tried different places where they sell authentic Mexican food and there are a few of them that really serve authentic food, I have tried Mexican restaurants where they serve fresh molcajete salsas this place is not one of them. I ordered a tostata de ceviche in black salsa and let me tell you, the salsa was Red. I've had ceviche in black salsa and I was disappointed. They should really update their menu picture and put a Pic of what your really going to get. The salsas look and taste like they blend them and are trying to save money. No effort what's so ever on the salsa taste. I asked for salt and they gave me packet. Another indication of them trying to save money. The service though is great. If you don't mind non authentic Mexican food then this is your place

The truth is for a surf and turf molcajetero with 4 shrimp and the rest of the chicken and no meat and then the raw tortillas.
Restaurantji Recommends
