Placed order on website which didn’t give option to change from white rice to brown. So I called restaurant and was told they can’t change the white rice yet website doesn’t state no substitution. Never have I experienced where a restaurant couldn’t accept substitution.

This place has been my first fav sushi spot. Can never steer clear. I love their baked salmon roll. Although a lot of other sushi rolls I enjoy. Nothing bad to say just that it’s small.

The food is really good, and the portions are fairly large. The only thing I didn’t like was the wait time, I waited about 18 minutes after I ordered to receive my food. If you’re in a rush maybe this is in the best spot but if you call ahead I think everything will be good. I ordered the spicy chicken and I liked it.

Boring & Unimpressed. I ordered 1 baked roll. The wait was much longer than 15min suggested. Presentation was unimpressive. It had the tiniest sliver of avocado and so much rice it was hard to eat. Lacked flavor s well.

Order a rainbow roll and the dynamite roll. They were okay, the rice was a bit hard felt like its dried out from sitting. The fish was okay, didnt taste the freshest nothing really stood out on the rainbow roll. The dynamite roll was a bit of a mess, a lot of white mayo-like sauce that over powered everything. The sauce on top was good, but the fish/scallops were too chewy. Honestly not very impressed, or desirable will not be back here for sushi.

This place is no longer Western Maki so if you are looking for their tasty food and service from the woman who used to be their and remember all of the customers you are going to be disappointed. They are now WesternTeriyaki and are under new management and the food does not taste the same. Went in there nearly an hour before closing and got poor service and they wouldn't make certain things. Pretty ridiculous and will not go here anymore.
